Also, does anyone know when/why the Crystal S single was pushed back? j/c Good question. That song is #11 on the Mediabase Canadian Country Charts right now.

MAR 24Heidi Newfield "Johnny And June"(Curb/Asylum) Source: Allaccess/Impacting Songs Curb? Did I miss when that was announced? Well, good luck with them... December 27, 2006 — After recording Trick Pony's live farewell album earlier this month with former bandmates Ira Dean and Keith Burns, Heidi Newfield is wasting no time getting started on her own projects. She's launched a new website, heidinewfield.com, to keep fans up to date on the happenings and advancements of her solo career. Heidi will also hit the studio in January to record her debut solo album for Asylum/Curb Records.

I really hope Heidi and Richie both have good solo careers away from their bands.

I just did a survey to decide the debut single for Christian Kane, who's on Columbia. The songs were "House Rules," "More Than I Deserve," "Coming Down," and "Let Me Go." None of them were great to me, but my favorites were "More Than I Deserve" and "Coming Down." He has some of these songs up on his myspace.

MAR 17Gary Allan "Learning How To Bend"(MCA Nashville) Source: Allaccess/Impacting Songs Eh...This will probably grow on me, but there's at least four other songs I would have rather seen as the second single.

I've been waiting for this for a while, as he's been signed for quite a while now. I found it interesting that he was signed as a solo act, and not a band ("Kane"), as that how he's/they've been performing for quite some time. For what it's worth... I've always liked "House Rules".

Any day now, Rodney Atkins should be announcing the fifth single from "If You're Going Through Hell" (he has insisted another single is on the way from this era before the next album era begins)
I have a feeling it could be "Invisibly Shaken". I think some are probably encouraging one of Atkins' more introspective, lighter songs to be released after a couple consecutive anthemic rousers, as "If You're Going Through Hell" will all but certainly be Atkins' definitive album of his career, that will set the stage for future successful singles and perhaps albums from him, and the best way to keep the momentum going is to showcase each side of his musical personality, where they've certainly gotten the country-boy spirit out there, but beyond "Watching You" have not yet quite fully laid out the more lighter side of his musical personality, which is just as prominent on the album as the rousing redneck-pleasing fare.
Sincerely, Noah Eaton

^I vote "Angel's Hands"! i went back and listened to it again and now i love it! i must have gotten it and another song mixed up or something. "Invisibly Shaken" is my second pick. Just no more upbeat redneck songs from him! i would like to see something different from him at #1

I hope it's either "A Man On A Tractor" or "Angel's Hands" (I like Tractor a little better, but I'm guessing Hands will be the single). I agree that it will be a lighter song, but I'm not sure how strong Invisibly Shaken would perform on the chart. I'm guessing that the only reason they are putting out a 5th single is to try and get 5 #1's off of the album (chart historians help me out, hasn't it been like 20 years since that's happened?). Otherwise it doesn't make sense, the album has been out for coming up on 2 years, so I imagine the album sales have dried up.

My first pick is "Invisibly Shaken" followed by "Angels Hands." Disppointed with a couple of the releases, as they wore out on me, but I suppose as long as they release one of those two I'll be happy. I think my least favorite song on the album (and therefore most probable to be released) is "A Man On A Tractor." I just can't help but think of how stupid that song is every time I hear it... Blah!

i am sure "About The South" or "A Man On A Tractor" will be released if they want to keep on going down the same path for him, hopefully they dont!

Just a couple of quick notes:
1. I moved Jennifer Hanson's "'73" from On The Air Now to March 17 because that's when Music Row has her going for adds. 2. I moved "Holler Back" and "Kristofferson" from Impacting Soon to On The Air Now since both songs have already charted.

Do we encourage the spreading of rumors here? People at the CMT Keith Urban board are saying that Shine will be released as a single, quoting KU himself at a concert. Not sure how real that is, but the posters there are generally well-informed and reliable.
Would the label really continue releasing songs from Love, Pain after the GH package entered the market?
