1. I have never been more thankful for 2 spins then I am right now.
2. It's a little sad that this song is now really nearing the end of the road. It's a real shame as despite the bad callout scores the sales have been so terrific that I would hope radio would convert this song, but if it's not meant to be then I hope the label recognizes that they're better off dropping "My Church". I know that all these A-Listers have songs released right now but "My Church" is only getting outsold by the latest songs from FGL, Blake Shelton, Luke Bryan, Tim McGraw, and Thomas Rhett. I don't care who you are that is impressive. I mean Maren is outselling the latest from Jason Aldean, Dustin Lynch, Old Dominion, and Keith Urban.
I really hope Maren can break out as a lady with that much talent should be a superstar. Oh by the way has anyone heard her new song "Rich" it's a song that is completely funny and I can't help but smile whenever I play it :)

I hope they keep pushing this as long as they can. It may not hit #1 in the end, but I think it can keep moving up a little further into the Top 10 if they wait out the onslaught of big releases passing her as some of them begin to drop. It's still selling exceptionally well, so keeping it's airplay at the height that it is can only be good for her as her debut album's impending release approaches. Would love to see this one ultimately hit the top of the charts though, if nothing more than to see her replicate the rare accomplishment made by Kelsea Ballerini last year with "Love Me Like You Mean It."

Would love to see this one ultimately hit the top of the charts though, if nothing more than to see her replicate the rare accomplishment made by Kelsea Ballerini last year with "Love Me Like You Mean It." I'd love to see this go #1 too, but I don't think it'll happen. I do think Columbia will keep pushing this for another week yet, maybe two (there's a "power up" ad at the top of tonight's Aircheck Weekly), but even top 5 looks rather doubtful. They'll need to push this for at least 2 more weeks if they want to get it higher than its current peak position of #9. She's back at #10 on Billboard tonight after Keith Urban moved ahead, and next week the best she can do is a +1 ("Think Of You" will go recurrent). In two weeks Maren can probably be ahead of Dierks Bentley (which could potentially move her up to #8), but she might also lose a spot to Jason Aldean. It remains to be seen how hard Dustin Lynch and Old Dominion will fall -- they'd be the next ones (after Dierks) to drop below Maren. It helps Maren that label-mate Kenny Chesney is stalling badly with "Noise" (I don't think Kenny will even make the top 5) so that leaves Jason Aldean and Carrie Underwood as the only threats from below; Maren is probably far enough ahead of Carrie that she can stay ahead of her for a little while longer yet, but Jason's only 2.5 million behind on Billboard now and closing rather quickly ("Lights Come On" isn't moving super fast for an Aldean single, but it's moving a lot faster than "My Church" is). Of course, what the other artists do won't matter at all if Maren can't gain more audience herself. She's sitting at 27.7 million on Billboard now and hasn't had any significant gains for several weeks now. She'll need another 10 million or so if she's gonna challenge for a top 5 peak, and right now that seems like a really tall task. I think a peak in the 6-8 range is the best that Maren can hope for, but it's possible that #9 is as high as she'll get, too.

There's 0% chance this hits #1 and top 5 is not likely. The 'Power Up' ad means the label will keep this alive until the album drop date and let it go. It's already a chore trying to keep this one going.

Maren has seen a better week so far than the past couple of weeks. "My Church" has gained 129 spins and about 1200K in audience, however it does seem likely that Jason Aldean will pass her so she's still stuck in place. Hopefully if Maren can start having more weeks like this one she can at least challenge a Top 5 peak.

No surprise here. Columbia Nashville is requesting "Max Spins" for "My Church" this week. They'll push it through the album release date on Friday, then that should be it.

Up to #17 on iTunes. So disappointed that this barely made the top ten while Luke Bryan and Florida-Georgia Line hit #1 with any garbage they release.
