Not when compared to what blocked it. The week of the video release, it was all over the internet. It definitely beat "The Hills" in overall popularity that week. And to Drake's stupid team, F*CK YOU!

Journey - "Don't Stop Believing" (#9) Probably the best examples of this. Since no one has mentioned it yet - Gangnam Style (2). A few other Top 10s from this decade that at least seemed much bigger over here - Titanium (7), Sweet Nothing (10), and Wake Me Up (4).

-"Friday" only reached #58 on the charts -Plenty of #2's (i.e. "Bad Romance", "Get Lucky", "Forget You", "Since U Been Gone", "Beautiful", "Gangnam Style") -"The Fox" (#6) -"The Motto" (#14) -"Price Tag" (#23) -"Baby" (#5) -"I'm Yours" (#6) -"What Makes You Beautiful" (#4) -- outpeaked by the forgettable "Glad You Came"... -"Fight Song" (#6) and "Ex's and Oh's" (#10) -- their sales both correspond to a much higher position than six but bad airplay and streaming screwed them over (it should've been FS #3 and X&O #6 with better balance). Fun fact: both were co-written by Dave Bassett. -"Girl Crush" (#18) -- Felt like a top 10; if country was behind it at the time it might have had a chance.

Jojo - Leave (Get Out) (12)
Love this song but it peaked low for a song that reached number one on CHR for I think four weeks in a row.
So Yesterday(41) & Come Clean(40) - Hilary Duff
For two songs that were so popular on VH1& MTV and from an album that sold well by a then current Disney novelty they peaked super low. Which is sad since I adore Hilary's singles and the latter half of her studio albums.

"Blame" by Calvin Harris featuring John Newman. Only reached #19, which is surprising since you could hardly turn on the radio for five minutes without hearing that song during its prime.

Rihanna - Can't Remember To Forget You (#15) Imagine Dragons - It's Time (#15) You thought "XO" felt bigger at the time? I heard it a few times on the radio and hear people say it was kind of boring. "Pretty Hurts" I forgot was released Shakira and Rihanna I heard a few times on the radio but I've heard more people say "Rihanna and Shakira have a song together"? Oh I think I remember it...... I don't even know "It's Time" by the Imagine Dragons but there are a decent amount of rock songs that I don't know the titles of. lol Maybe it's just where I'm from and these were bigger where you are?

Xtina- "Dirrty" Even though it didn't receive a lot of airplay it lingered some. My local Top 40 station in Boston played it as a recurrent WAY more than when it as out. The video was big and talked about. I remember seeing a parody or two of the video/song and it was big in a lot of bars/clubs. Oh and it is a fan favorite (though sometimes that means nothing lol)
Britney- "I'm A Slave For you"- Practically all the same reasons as XTina's "Dirrty"
Whitney- "It's Not Right But It's Ok"- It was a pretty big hit (sales helped a decent amount at the time). In Boston I used to hear this everywhere. On the radio it was a smash with most age groups. When I would hit the gay bars it was HUGE. When I would hit the straight clubs I would see straight guy muscle heads pounding and chanting to it????? To me this song almost feels like it's one of her Top 8-10 hits lol.
Donna Summer- "Last Dance" and "She Works Hard For The Money" Not that they peaked at an awful position. Num. 3 is nothing to be sad about. However these are probably two of her biggest signature hits.

Afrojack - Take Over Control
It was very very popular in 2011 and would play at radios and clubs often. But it only peaked at number 41 apparently.
