Like, every Britney Spears single ever. Yeah alot of Britneys early stuff. I guess TRL made songs feel really big, even if they weren't massive on the radio

Coldplay - Clocks (29) Billboard's treatment of this song made it seem CRIMINALLY underrated. The fact that even Amanda freakin' Perez ranked higher (on Hot 100 & Year-End) really frustrates me.

Like everyone else said, Britney's pre-blackout singles. These songs were massive
1. Sometimes peaked at #21 (should've been top 10) 2. Crazy peaked at #10 (should've been top 3) 3. Born To Make You Happy didn't even chart
4. Oops I Did It Again peaked at #9 (should've been #1) 5. Lucky peaked at #23 (should've been top 10) 6. Stronger peaked at #11 (should've been top 5) 7. I'm A Slave 4 U peaked at #27 (should've been top 10) 8. Toxic peaked at #9 (should've been #1) 9. Everytime peaked at #15 (should've been top 10) 10. My Prerogative didn't even chart

For me a lot of the hip-hop songs that dominated the radio the past couple years, some examples are: Classic Man (22) Flex (26) Truffle Butter (14) Again (33) Ayo (21) Might Be (78 for now) Liquor (60) California (never charted, got to #2 Bubbling Under) Say It (23) Me, Myself & I (7, I don't see it getting any higher)
Also: Am I Wrong (4) Problem & Stay With Me (2) Talking Body & Worth It (12) You Know You Like It (13)

If streaming had been available during Britney's early days, would she have like 20 #1s? Reading all your posts about Britney's songs not peaking higher is sad. Surprised Slave, Oops, Crazy, Sometimes, and most esp. Toxic peaked only at those positions.

Yup, at least in the UK she had way more successful peaks I believe Toxic, Everytime, & Born To Make You Happy went number 1 there as well.

"Boulevard of Broken Dreams", stuck at #2 for 7 straight weeks but #1 on six radio formats - at the same time.

Oh god, I just remembered
Don't Speak - No Doubt, literally the biggest song to never even chart on the Hot 100 Which sucks since that song is a freaking classic and a signature song of No Doubt's.

Yup, the rules were bullshit back then It's also what caused Aaliyah's One In A Million to never chart

I remember American Idiot seeming bigger than Boulevard of Broken Dreams and American Idiot didn't even make the top 40. Altho Billboard started including Itunes sales in the Hot 100 between the releases of American Idiot and Boulevard of Broken Dreams and American Idiot probably would have benefited hugely from Itunes sales being included.
