Every number 1 hit song has people saying "I HATE THIS SONG IT SUCKS"
What number 1 song has gotten the least criticism and the least people saying that it sucks?
For example, I like Rude and Cheerleader a lot but I know lots of peeps hate it and criticized it a lot.
So wondering which song has gotten the least criticism for being number 1.
I dont recall too much criticism for Locked Out Of Heaven.
What do you all think?

JGMAR when it came out, peeps didnt really say they hated it though. Last year though I saw lots of peeps complaining saying that it was a horrible number 1.

Todd In The Shadows (the famous internet reviewer) didn't like it, he thought it was boring for some reason.

I would say IMO, it's the worst song that 1:Either of them has released 2:One of the worst songs released in general

Lots of peeps criticized that from what I remember and lots of peeps I talk to still say they hate that song a lot. Really? That's probably the only #1 hit of the past 16 years that I have never heard a single criticism about.

Blurred Lines and Cheerleader. ^That was a joke.
On a serious note, how about Teenage Dream? I don't seem to remember much criticism associated that one.

I remember a lot of Eminem fans in the YouTube comments for the Hot 100 videos getting really mad when it dethroned LTWYL (maybe they didn't hate TD but just wanted LTWYL to be #1 instead)

I don't think you'll find any song that had very little to no hate or criticism.
Most of Mariah Carey's biggest hits could be considered as such, particularly "Vision of Love", "Emotions", "Dreamlover", "Fantasy", and "We Belong Together".
I hated the song. I didn't like that it basically ripped off an Alcazar song which sampled from Sheila B. Devotion.

Did Dark Horse get any criticism? I think everyone was happy it reached number 1 and were calling it KPs best song.

Every song has it's critics. But of all the #1's this decade so far, I'd go with "Rolling In The Deep".

Did Dark Horse get any criticism? I think everyone was happy it reached number 1 and were calling it KPs best song. Many had issues with the rap section, particularly the line about Jeffrey Dahmer. And the lack of a proper bridge.

I don't remember much hate for STIUTK back in 2012. It did when it stayed number 1 for too long.

We Are The World - USA for Africa Never reached number 1. According to what chart? It hit #1 in both Billboard and Radio & Records.

We Are The World - USA for Africa Trust me, it's gotten TONS of criticism and is looked back as a joke by many, including internet reviewers.

We Are The World - USA for Africa Never reached number 1. yes it did, it was a #1 hit in 1985. Look it up. You're probably thinking of the 2010 remake.

Did Dark Horse get any criticism? I think everyone was happy it reached number 1 and were calling it KPs best song. The MV got HUGE controversy within the Muslim community because of the necklace one of the people in the MV that got disintegrated was wearing.
