It's not the final update yet but in the first afternoon update (ie. recurrents have been removed):
12 10 CARRIE UNDERWOOD Love Wins 4542 4563 -21 27.607
So she's got this much at least. A top 10's a top 10's a top 10.

"Love Wins" is being featured on Now That's What I Call Country : Volume 12! (along with fellow American Idol winner Scotty McCreery for "This Is It")

The song went from -21 spins and no bullet yesterday to 117 spins and a strong bullet. I’m assuming this week is the final push.

If she can keep ahead of Jon Pardi for the rest of the week, we should be looking good for top 10. How many weeks old is this now? 26? 27 weeks?

Yeah, there’s no way that this would last another week. This song is running on fumes the way it is. Keep fingers crossed that this squeaks out a top 10 and we can move on to single #3

Unless she releases a killer lead single from the next album.

With how crowded the charts are as of the last few years especially, no artist will ever take just 10 weeks to hit #1, not even Luke Combs lead single could go up the chart that fast.

Unless she releases a killer lead single from the next album. I agree, but I hold out hope she releases one of the songs that I think could shut that down... So I’m not ready to say those days are over, I think she’s got the material to do it, just a matter of single choices. Also, she did pretty well with the “Storyteller” singles overall and those were all much more radio friendly than the two CP singles so far, imo. CP and LW are two songs I love, CP has actually become my all time favorite Carrie song, but I totally see why they didn’t click at radio. Nevertheless, single choice could also be attributed to Carrie’s recent “struggles” at country radio, so I still hope she can score a few more #1s!

Honest question, does anyone see this getting the Billboard Top 10 next week, because I have reservations?
Both Scotty McCreery and Jason Aldean have seemed to actually get a bit of a better footing in staying in the Top 10 especially Jason Aldean. Scotty McCreery is about 800 spins away and audience wise Carrie Underwood is a good 2.6 million behind Jake Owen.
This next week should be interesting on the chart.

Nothing in this week’s Country Aircheck indicates that they’re going for max spins this week. It looks like they’re riding the wave on this one and taking it as far as radio will allow.

Anyone know if there’s a max spins ad out for this or anything? This isn’t doing anything but staying stagnant.

If this is the push week, the label is doing an awful job. That makes me worried that it isn't the push week...
I swear if they don't have Carrie performing a new single at the ACMs...

Looks like she's on target for a second week in the top 10 on Mediabase though; she's holding out on Jon Pardi, and Jordan Davis is about to drop out of the top 10 - and if she hangs in there the way she is, right now nobody else looks likely to push her back out even if Jon does overtake. (Still can't speak for top 10 on Billboard though).

Now she has Kelsea coming up quick on her heels. At least try to keep the BB top 10 streak going. Unless Luke Combs starting tumbling down the chart quickly, we are going to have Jon, Carrie and Kelsea competing for 2 spots in the top 10. If they are going to push, it needs to be next week. Otherwise she has no chance and this song is already 27 weeks old.

2nd week in the top 10 on Mediabase (#10 in the morning update). IDK about her Billboard chances but she's also top 10 on audience on MB with a +0.350 audience gain today.

There's about a 2% chance this enters the BB top 10. Jason Aldean and Scotty McCreery are still on BB and have higher audience and still ranked in the top 10 in spins ahead of Carrie. The highest I can see Carrie being on BB tomorrow is #12.

That probably explains why UMG is waiting to push, because once those two drop to recurrent, it should be somewhat easier to push Carrie into the top 10.

This fell to #14 this week on Billboard and lost its bullet.
Hate to say it, but it's time to abandon ship. The Billboard Top 10 seems impossible now.

Abandon ship even though there hasn’t been an official push week? I still think UMG needs to at least try. We are talking about a nearly 13-year top 10 streak, 29 top 10s. I just don’t think they should let it go down without a fight.

But radio just doesn't seem interested or willing to convert this any farther and especially with the ACMs coming soon they should just abandon this song and prep up the next single with an ACM performance. It'd be disappointing if at the ACMs Carrie Underwood performs "Love Wins". I get that the label should try, but I don't really see an opening for the Billboard Top 10. They already got the Mediabase Top 10, so to the industry it will always be viewed as a Top 10 single.

I’m starting to think that this move to UMG was a mistake. Carrie could’ve sent a record of her singing the ABCs to radio and Sony would’ve found a way to get it in the top 5. Yes, I know CP and this weren’t exactly radio friendly but this is Carrie Underwood we are talking about here. This is the first Carrie Underwood single to Miss the top 10 and I’m disappointed.

Who cares. Move on. Release "Drinking Alone" and save this era please. My fear is that they’ll release another sleeper such as “The Bullet.” Honestly, I want to continue to enjoy Carrie’s presence on radio and television, not be preached at yet again.
