Good spin gain today on Mediabase (+54) and got its bullet back, although audience gain was minimal (+0.011). Should pass Michael Ray to take #11 back tomorrow; is Riley Green eligible for recurrency? If so this could get another week in the Mediabase top 10.

It's Luke Combs that will go recurrent on Mediabase not Riley Green since this will be the third week "Beautiful Crazy" will lose its bullet. So yeah it will get another week back into the Top 10 but getting into the Billboard Airplay Top 10 is probably not happening.

If spins continue to go up at some point audience will have to follow. Maybe the ship for top 10 on Billboard has sailed but who knows, it hasn't died yet.

But it is still being passed by the other songs around it and today's update doesn't indicate the next one will be just as good or even better. "Love Wins" could easily lose a bit of spins or audience tomorrow. Also with the movie Breakthrough out this week which this song is on the soundtrack. I think this week will finally be it's last week promoted to country radio. In which case Billboard Top 10 isn't happening since I think Carrie Underwood is getting passed by one of Brett Eldredge or Thomas Rhett if not both.

Once the dust clears with all these songs dropping, I would hope UMG would go for a final push starting Monday before Brett Eldredge passes this.

I also thought they would have released single #3 by now since I have no idea what their strategy is.

Maybe we’re not getting a third single. 😂 (Just kidding.)

Well with "Southbound" impacting right away and today's update in mind looks like the label is finally off this song.
This won't go recurrent on Mediabase until May 19th and will go recurrent either tonight or next Monday on Billboard.
I will say one big "benefit" to this song giving up is that it should really help the other female songs in the 20s and 30s since there are more token female spins available. Unfortunate that's the way radio works, but it is what it is.

It hasn't gotten higher than #10 on Mediabase or #11 on Billboard in several weeks. All this accomplished was causing the song to burn on radio much more and possibly killing some enthusiasm for the next single. Presumably to promote the Breakthrough soundtrack I guess, but I still don't see how that was super worth what this might've done to Carrie's radio momentum.

This is ridiculous. At least attempt a final push after letting this song sit on the charts for 30+ weeks.

I think this past week was the push week with this gaining 136 spins on Mediabase and having slightly positive audience updates, I just think radio was just that done with this song. They've probably wanted to drop this song since early March. Also songs that aren't in the Top 10 tend to not get a definitive last week push regardless.

Here's to 'Southbound' having a better performance; at least this did get multiple frames in the top 10 on Mediabase, but maybe this past week was the push because nothing speaks louder than this:
12 12 CARRIE UNDERWOOD Love Wins 4469 4759 -290 24.954
-414 Spins -424 Bullet -1.507 Audience
