I don't understand why they release a a song like "Look What God Gave Her" when they could release a song that is so much better and at least actually country like "That Old Truck". Yeah. Look What God Gave Her sounds like... 9th single material, not a lead one. And I agree that if he makes some country songs to include in his albums, why not release them? It's possible the label isn't too confident in realizing more traditional sounding country songs. Also "That Old Truck" is far less catchy, at least for the mainstream. It's more focused on lyrical detail. Leading with a ballad like that might not be the best idea. If he has a song like "Renegades" though, he could probably release it. Although, it is selling pretty well. Released on Friday, and still in the iTunes Top 50.

Actually heard “That Old Truck” played on the local iHeartRadio station today. Seems like the type of song radio would be excited to play. So basically, that ensures it will never see a release as a single.

"Sixteen" got hype before it was a single (was Top 60 without being released as one), so that was a song radio wanted to play that got pushed.

Nothing much to say about that video. I like seeing the kids, that was cute. Interesting seeing him play both drums and acoustic guitar in the video.

The song keeps growing off me :/ And what might be an incredibly unpopular opinion, is that yes, it's amazing he loves his wife, but why include her in everything? The girls however, were so cute.
And by the way, who are the other prominent women in the video? His mom or something?

And by the way, who are the other prominent women in the video? His mom or something? From Thomas: “When we started talking about the music video, it was natural to include Lauren, but I also wanted to include other inspirational women who are doing some amazing things. Rather than hire actors for the video we connected with the founder of Love One and her family, the women of Thistle Farms and an incredible artist who also did our art for the single cover to come be featured. Being able to spotlight them and celebrate these strong women along with my wife and daughters was such a special experience.”

Yeah, I'm getting a little sick of his wife as well.

Look what God gave her, a perfect body that makes people hate her. It ain't her fault, cuz God gave it to her.
Does that make sense to anyone?
Not to mention the whole song is him talking about how she was sent from heaven, yet the hook is about what God gave her (not what God gave him...)
On top of being poppy, it's sloppy.

Hot 100: #74 (-5) Country Airplay: #14 (+1) Country Songs: #13 (-1)
"That Old Truck" debuts at #36 on Country Songs as well. Clearly, people like that, given it already has just as much streams as "Don't Threaten Me With a Good Time", and the latter didn't even make the chart.

Her work was recently featured on the today show as Kathie Lee gifted Hoda with a piece she made personally for her. http://instagram.com/p/BvvIEBWgn0v

"Remember You Young" out now. This sounds like a future smash hit. This could be a multi week number one.

Wow "That Old Truck" and "Remember You Young" are outstanding, the latter being a career song. So crazy because "Look What God Gave Her" and "Don't Threaten Me" are literally terrible. Hopefully the rest of the singles from this album era are good.

This is catchier than anything BSB has released in the past decade.

This is one of my favorites out right now, so catchy to me. So far his next album is sounding good! I’m glad this seems to be selling and steaming well.

This will be hitting #1 before it drops, since its selling and streaming relatively well. I'm not so sure that'll be the next single, but considering these two promo tracks charted and "Don't Threaten Me With a Good Time" didn't, I think it's at least indicating what people want from him.

“Beer Can’t Fix” needs to be the second single. That would be the song of the summer IMO. This is shaping up to be a great album so far.
