bboat11 am I too late? lol I could do this tonight. Really?? OMG I'll leave it open for you if that's the case :) Waiting on a list from Kanenrá:ke too I think. If y'all can have it done by tonight, that'll be great! I can focus on finishing George Strait and maybe Sam Hunt while I wait :)

1. What is going to be #1? I think it'll be showdown between "Backseat of a Greyhound Bus" and "Maybe It Was Memphis"
2. What is going to be #50? Likely one of Reba's songs from Faith & Hope
3. Which songs will be in the top 5? "Backseat of a Greyhound Bus", "Maybe It Was Memphis", "Born to Fly", "Would You Go With Me", and "The Fool"
4. Which songs will be in the bottom 5? "I'll Fly Away", "Back to God", "Folsom Prison Blues", "Holy Water" and one of George's songs such as "Nobody In His Right Mind Would've Left Her"
5. Which songs will be the most polarizing? "Folsom Prison Blues", "Bubba Shot the Jukebox", "24 Frames"
6. Which songs will be the least polarizing? "Backseat of a Greyhound Bus", "Ocean Front Property", "Better Things to Do"

"Backseat of a Greyhound Bus" in the top two and both "No Place That Far" and "Born to Fly" making a run for the top 10 if not for the top 5; "Slow Me Down" in top 30. Does she have a shot of winning this thing yet again? YAS!
9. Which "The" song will do best? "The Fool" Worst? "The Truth"
10. Patty Loveless' "Chains" and "Timber, I'm Falling In Love" tied to win their album rankdown. Which one will place higher this time?? "Timber, I'm Falling in Love"
11. Kanenrá:ke Stacey 's Terri Clark rankdown was started during the eligibility period for the FIRST BotB rankdown. Its winner is finally making an appearance now, in the THIRD BotB rankdown. How will "Better Things To Do" do in this rankdown? Oh the shade...but I think it's a shoe-in for the top 10
12. Any other thoughts/predictions?? If we could not tank all of George's songs this time around that would be great thanks!

1. What is going to be #1? "Born to Fly"
2. What is going to be #50? "I'll Fly Away" or "Working Man's Hands"
3. Which songs will be in the top 5? Think Sara might get there with "Born to Fly" and "Backseat of a Greyhound Bus." I could see the likes of "Timber, I'm Falling in Love," "Troubadour," and "Would You Go with Me" up there, too.
4. Which songs will be in the bottom 5? The two I guessed for #50 + maybe "Baby's Gotten Good at Goodbye" and "24 Frames."
5. Which songs will be the most polarizing? "The Dance"/"Turn on the Radio"
6. Which songs will be the least polarizing? "Born to Fly"/"Would You Go with Me"
7. Which Reba McEntire album track will do the best? Worst? ("Sleeping With The Telephone", "Enough", "I'll Fly Away", "Tammy Wynette Kind Of Pain")
8. Sara Evans won the last TWO Best of the Best rankdowns with "A Real Fine Place To Start" and "A Little Bit Stronger"! This time, she has four songs: "No Place That Far", "Born To Fly", "Backseat Of A Greyhound Bus", and "Slow Me Down". Where will each of them finish? Does she have a shot of winning this thing yet again? My guess: "Born to Fly" wins it, and "Backseat" also makes top 5. I think NPTF will end up in the teens and "Slow Me Down" maybe around 20-25.
9. Which "The" song will do best? Worst? ("The Chair", "The Dance", "The Fool", "The Truth") Best: The Fool | Worst: The Chair
10. Patty Loveless' "Chains" and "Timber, I'm Falling In Love" tied to win their album rankdown. Which one will place higher this time?? Timber
11. Kanenrá:ke Stacey 's Terri Clark rankdown was started during the eligibility period for the FIRST BotB rankdown. Its winner is finally making an appearance now, in the THIRD BotB rankdown. How will "Better Things To Do" do in this rankdown? Around #18 is my guess.

1. What is going to be #1?
"Born To Fly"
2. What is going to be #50?
hopefully "Heart Break", easily the worst song here. I do think it'll be "I'll Fly Away"
3. Which songs will be in the top 5?
"Born to Fly", "The Fool", "Maybe It Was Memphis", "No Place That Far", and "Concrete Angel"
4. Which songs will be in the bottom 5?
"I'll Fly Away", "24 Frames", "Back To God", "Troubadour", and "Working Man's Hands"
5. Which songs will be the most polarizing?
"Backseat of A Greyhound Bus" is a likely candidate. I like the song well enough but it is definitely near the bottom of this list for me and with so many precictions for it to win I definitely think that has a chance.
6. Which songs will be the least polarizing?
"I'll Fly Away", I doubt many rank it high in this list of songs.
7. Which Reba McEntire album track will do the best? Worst? ("Sleeping With The Telephone", "Enough", "I'll Fly Away", "Tammy Wynette Kind Of Pain")
Highest: "Sleeping With The Telephone" Lowest: "I'll Fly Away"
I think "Born To Fly" is the only one that has a chance and I could see it happen. Kinda hoping not just to have someone different be at #1 ("The Fool" FTW!!!)
9. Which "The" song will do best? Worst? ("The Chair", "The Dance", "The Fool", "The Truth")
Highest: "The Fool" Lowest: "The Dance" (just cause it is Garth and people tank Garth all the time, maybe "The Truth")
10. Patty Loveless' "Chains" and "Timber, I'm Falling In Love" tied to win their album rankdown. Which one will place higher this time??
I think "Timber, I'm Falling In Love" will be higher
11. Kanenrá:ke Stacey 's Terri Clark rankdown was started during the eligibility period for the FIRST BotB rankdown. Its winner is finally making an appearance now, in the THIRD BotB rankdown. How will "Better Things To Do" do in this rankdown?
It'll be top 15, if not top 10
12. Any other thoughts/predictions??
quite a few people will probably be upset multiple times throughout the results.

oh, are these up now! let my insomniac ass tackle them then! 1. What is going to be #1? Probably "Born to Fly" which I wouldn't be upset to see but personally I'm rooting for "Concrete Angel" to take this2. What is going to be #50? Maybe "24 Frames" (sorry to this man recordyear!!!) or "Holy Water"3. Which songs will be in the top 5? "Born to Fly," "Backseat of a Greyhound Bus," "This Kiss," "Maybe It Was Memphis," "Concrete Angel"4. Which songs will be in the bottom 5? The worst of the best?? Idk this one's hard to predict tbh5. Which songs will be the most polarizing? Probably "Back to God" and "Drinking Alone"
6. Which songs will be the least polarizing? "Born to Fly"7. Which Reba McEntire album track will do the best? Worst? ("Sleeping With The Telephone", "Enough", "I'll Fly Away", "Tammy Wynette Kind Of Pain") 8. Coincidentally, I have all four songs placed 3 spots from each other. I think that either "Born to Fly" or "Backseat" will win this, making her the Queen of Pulse Country pretty much tbh since she's won them all so far!9. Which "The" song will do best? Worst? ( "The Chair", "The Dance", "The Fool", "The Truth") 10. Patty Loveless' "Chains" and "Timber, I'm Falling In Love" tied to win their album rankdown. Which one will place higher this time?? "Timber"11. Kanenrá:ke Stacey 's Terri Clark rankdown was started during the eligibility period for the FIRST BotB rankdown. Its winner is finally making an appearance now, in the THIRD BotB rankdown. How will "Better Things To Do" do in this rankdown? Top 10-Top 20 range12. Any other thoughts/predictions?? When the best of the best get pitted against each other, the matchups get incredibly difficult!!! :'( Excited to see how this shakes out!

Alright, it is officially too late for any other last-minute stragglers to submit a list. This rankdown always takes an insane amount of prep work between the organizing of graphics from all the various rankdowns that are represented here and creating of trajectory graphs, and I just stayed up super late and finished it all. So if anybody else wants to be added to the following list, let me know!! Reveals coming on the morrow!!!!!

We are going to kick things off with a BONUS SONG!!!!!! Just like last time, I have cut every song that won a rankdown in this set but had previously already been featured in either BotB or RotB in the past. The first song I am going to highlight won the final rankdown of the eligibility cycle. It is also a Christmas song, so had I included it, it very likely would have finished in last place Not that it deserves last place or anything, but the Christmas songs have finished in last place for every other BotB and RotB so far. So this feels like a fitting time to highlight it!!!
Bonus: "Where Are You Christmas" - Faith Hill
Finished at #1 in the:Faith Hill: Joy To The World album rankdown (Host: bboat11 )

I don't care if it's November, December, or August, who could possibly listen to this song and say "yeah it's (enter month that isn't November or December) so this is the worst of the bunch"?
I swear if this was y'all's mentality when you ranked "A Baby Changes Everything"...

"Where Are You Christmas" won Faith Hill's Christmas rankdown with decisive finesse this past holiday season!!! As it deserved to do!!! This song is by far one of my favorite original Christmas songs. Faith's vocal here is better than ever! This song had previously won castleoblivion26's Country Christmas rankdown back in Christmas of 2017, where the competition was much stiffer (110 of the genre's most popular Christmas songs?! Holy cow!) So we been knew that this song was well loved. It managed to finish at #47 in the first Best of the Best rankdown.

Well to be fair, I just realized that Kip Moore "Girl Of The Summer" actually finished at last place in the first BotB rankdown. But still, "Where Are You Christmas" only made it up to #47, which is WAY too low!

Occupying last place by a significant margin was Reba McEntire's cover of the classic gospel song "I'll Fly Away". This song is a very good cover version, that is fun to listen to depending on the context, but ultimately it feels like a bit of an anomaly in the context of this list. I was not at all surprised to see it get largely tanked. George Strait Junkie and fearlessarrow get perfect rankings right off the bat, while singingrulebritannia starts with an immediate top 20 loss. Still, this managed to be one of the least polarizing songs of the rankdown, because 13 out of 17 people put this in their 40s!

Reba in last place just doesn't sound right!! I was expecting that nonetheless tbh so I'm not too upset to see this leave so unbelievably early And of course that #2 is probably gonna be mine.

I'm actually surprised to see both of Reba's songs be the bottom 2. I did expect them both to be out in the bottom 10 though.
I like both of these and really only ranked them low due to the list of songs because I like just about everything on this list

So Reba leaving first with "I'll Fly Away" was pretty expected to me, but I was not expecting "Back To God" to get quite as much hate as it did. Like I knew it would probably finish in the bottom 10 or so, but it did NOT deserve bottom 2! I know this song has several things working against it. Pulse has a number of non-religious types who tend to be turned off by religious lyrics. The melody to this song kinda takes a few listens to get into. This was not a big hit on country radio, so most non-Reba fans have not had a chance to familiarize themselves with it a whole lot. The production is incredibly bombastic and I know that tends to turn people off, even though Reba does bombastic well. Reba in general has always been pretty polarizing. The list goes on. But ultimately on a list this strong, that all culminated in this song getting repeatedly tanked. Personally I cannot get over all the positive aspects of this song. The message is 100% on point imo, as our world becomes increasingly selfish and we have political leaders committing atrocities in the name of religion.. Like him or not, God is supposed to be a symbol for everything that is good and right in the world, and the atrocities that are done in the name of religion are supposed to be the work of the devil, trying to warp peoples' minds and causing them to misinterpret the message. I explained this all better in the album rankdown when I went on a huge rant about why "Meanwhile Back At The Cross" is such an amazing song 😂 But even if you're a non-believer, giving the world "Back To God" literally just means trying to fill the world with hope and kindness because it's kinda shit right now... Besides, Reba sounds SOOOOOOOO amazing here. Her voice is so powerful and youthful, and she belts it out like she's 30 years younger than she actually is. And the best part is she does it live too, and even takes all the high parts in the acoustic version with the much-younger Lauren Daigle on her newest Christmas album! So you know it's not just studio magic! Those C#5s in the 3rd chorus are show-stoppers

Disassociative's playlist has the Lauren Daigle feature version instead. I don't think thir vocals complement each other, but then again I don't really care the original too much.
