"Break First" easily should've been the lead single from that album. Could've been a #1 smash imo. Every live performance I've seen on YouTube of this one is just fantastic.

"A Little More Country Than That" is good, but I easily prefer the runner-up from that RD "I Can't Love You Back" and even "Roll With It". It's never been a favorite for me when it comes to Easton Corbin songs.

Yeah, "A Little More Country Than That" is a fine song, but it still sounds so overplayed and tired even after all these years. I was shocked when it managed to beat out tons of great material to win the Easton Corbin rankdown, but here we are. The song did not do well at all here, as 10 people put it in their bottom 15, and had no hope whatsoever of escaping the bottom 10 once it settled in. I like this song, but it finished about where I expected it to. Tbh, Easton probably would have had an uphill battle regardless of what song he had in here considering the overall quality of this list.

Damn the graph tho... outside of the first three submissions it just kept sliding down (except for two submissions) - I liked this one a lot so it's a bummer it's out this early.

Unfortunately for recordyear, Jason Isbell's "24 Frames" sees an exit in the bottom 10, despite his #1 rank and the additional aid of singingrulebritannia's #2 rank. This song won recordyear's personal rankdown, which featured his favorite indie/less-known country songs (as the title suggests. Lol) Jason Isbell won that rankdown to the joy of some and the chagrin of others. Unfortunately, some of those "others" got their revenge by tanking this song mercilessly in the #1s rankdown. recordyear, I just want to say that this loss is not personal, even though it may feel that way because it came from your personal rankdown. This is a song that would have never in a million years stood a chance of winning a rankdown considering the mainstream bent of our country crowd if you hadn't had the balls to create a whole rankdown of obscure songs just to see what happened. I am personally quite glad that you introduced this song to me, as it was my #1 in your rankdown!! Now, it might have been in my bottom 10 here, but that is a testament to how strong this list is moreso than a condemnation of the song. You did a good thing by bringing this song into my life, and I like it very much! Don't get discouraged! ......Also, you might have someone else joining you in the #1 losses club sooner rather than later...

The recency bias may have kicked this one up for me as I just recently started loving "Her World Or Mine"! It's definitely the best I've heard from Michael Ray so far - it's struggling a bit on radio right now; why can't radio play good Michael Ray songs but will take "One That Got Away", "Think a Little Less", and "Kiss You in the Morning" to the top 3? His biggest hits have been his worst singles (granted he's only had 6 radio singles so far).

About "Her World or Mine." Easily my favorite from him thus far. LBTrocks will probably like this taste; I happen to also quite enjoy "One that Got Away" and "Kiss You in the Morning." I'm sorry y'all! "Kiss You in the Morning" is a fav of mine just because of its summer vibes and catchiness. I do not condone the "pretty little butterfly" and tan line mess. "One that Got Away" is just good imo. Like I said tho, "Her World or Mine" is easily his best yet.

Ok, wow, you all suck. Clearly. Clearly. You all hated on this JUST because Michael Ray was the artist delivering it. If one of your beloved artists sang this, it would have likely been #1 in this RD. But that trash guy Michael Ray? Nah, he sucks. Let's tank it!
....this RD, is CANCELLED!
"Her World or Mine" (regardless of the artist recording it) is a modern day country masterpiece! So you all can stay hating. On the song... and Michael Ray. I also wanna say something on Travis Denning's behalf here. He co-wrote such a flawless song. I have so much respect for him just because of this. Not sure why this is so low here, but it got done dirty, for SURE!

Funny that I saw this coming lol. Look at my previous posts. Not surprised but how generic and agenda-driven of you all. That’s foolish and insulting. You know that this is a song most people like or love, otherwise it wouldn’t even be in this rankdown. If you ask literally anybody, they would say that this is a great song, but so is the rest of this list. It just so happens that most people have decades worth of favorites in this list, and a song from literally this year is not going to trump songs we have loved for our entire lives. YOU’RE the one ranking based on an agenda because you love Michael Ray so much ⚰️ Everyone else treated it exactly like you would expect them to treat one of the best modern country songs that is surrounded by some of the best ‘90s country songs. There was no big “Tank Michael because he’s trash!” conspiracy going on behind the scenes. If there was, I would have stopped it. Personally, watching each list come in, I feel like this is the fairest BotB Rankdown yet in terms of people ranking songs based on quality rather than tanking them because they were sung by certain artists. I mean, this song literally got ranks in the 10s, 20s, 30s, AND 40s, which is a very impressive spread, and hardly indicative of a universal attempt to tank it... Besides, lots of people are disappointed with at least some of the reveals thus far. I mean, Carrie, castle, and disassociative have all lost their #2, recordyear has lost his #1, and there have been a whole smattering of other top 5 and 10 losses thus far. These rankdowns are notoriously painful for just about everybody at one point or another throughout reveals. And not one of them has tried to make things personal.

To clarify lol, the first paragraph was written more in jest and was me purposely being over-the-top and messy because I love doing that in rankdowns, especially after something I really love or really hate gets revealed. lol. The second paragraph I bolded was more of my 'serious' reply to how I felt about the song and it being out so early. I should have just wrote that part but you know me and my flare for the dramatics lol!

tbh LBTrocks it had kinda irked me too and I was gonna say something too but it was 1am lol Like I said before all...that happened, "Her World or Mine" is my favorite song of his by far--and I've only heard 3 of the six singles (which are all catchy, good, or great--or all three--songs imo). My #26 is because...well, I'm 19 but I grew up on the 90s stuff! My mom was a teen during that decade so she always played her music which meant I grew up on the 90s greats like Martina, Reba, Faith, Shania, etc...

It is time for us to honor a song that has low-key been a really strong competitor every time it has appeared in a rankdown. This song first proved its worth when it finished at #3 in the 6th country rankdown that ever happened, the Miranda Lambert rankdown. It then stayed unused for awhile, until the 2007 Country rankdown when it made another appearance and slayed its way all the way up to #2!!! Thanks to that finish, it was able to participate in the previous Revenge of the Best rankdown. THAT was when it finally hit #1!!!!!! And then of course, right after becoming a rankdown winner, it once again proved its worth by finishing at #3 in g8erboi 's personal rankdown of his favorite country songs from the '00s. Since it was featured in RotB, it was not eligible to be featured again in BotB for the sake of diversity. However, it absolutely deserves this acknowledgement! Say hello to "Famous In A Small Town"
Bonus: "Famous In A Small Town" - Miranda Lambert
Finished at #1 in the: Revenge of the Best - Pt. II rankdown (Host: bboat11 )
