We talk a lot on these forums about songs or albums that seem apt for certain seasons.
For example, Adele's albums, Red, evermore, folklore - Autumn Katy/GaGa/Kylie/Madonna/1989 - usually Summer (IMO) a lot of Alanis - Spring
But what do you all feel fits Winter? And like I said in the title, I'm not talking about Christmastime. I'm talking January/February when the holidays are over and its the dead of Winter (in the Northern Hemisphere). What do you listen to at this time of year?
I don't have any answers, I'm genuinely curious what other think.

Alanis - SFIJ Florence - Ceremonials Celine’s Colour of my love and Let’s talk about love albums Ellie - Halcyon
I have a whole playlist of late fall winter albums.
Edit: Oh I misread the timeframe. In the post-holiday months I tend to lean more toward 90s alternative and rock/indie rock and 2000s singer/songwriter stuff.

Those particular Celine albums make me think of people attending balls inside in the winter. "Refuse to Dance" most of all. As an aside, I was thinking how Alanis 21st Century albums feel like Spring albums to me, especially So-Called Chaos and havoc and bright lights

I always go for Sarah McLachlan during winter. Laws of Illusion, Shine On, and Closer: The Best of are all go to's sitting under a blanket sipping cocoa.
