How many languages have been represented in your chart? Do you have a rule against charting non-English songs?

I've never charted a song that was sung entirely in a different language, but other languages have been in songs that have charted.
Addicted - Truth Hurts (i think Indian is used as a sample)
Mudian to Bach Ke - Panjabi MC (features Jay-Z, otherwise it's completely in Indian)

I've have french songs. 'Zora Sorrit' by Celine Dion almost charted in my Top 30. And Santana's 'Corazon...' I forget the title, from his 'Supernatural' CD charted in my Top 100.

I have yet to have song hit my chart that has been sung completely in a different language. I love music mostly for the lyrics and what I can get out of them and if I don't understand what someone is singing than it is just the music I am listening to. I can only speak a little french so my horizons aren't very broad when it comes to different languages

The only non-English song to hit my top ten is: The Silicans feat. Angelo Venuto - L'Italiano (#9 - 2002)
I have songs that were sung in Spanish, Italian, French, and Russian songs on the chart but they weren't very successful besides "L'Italiano."
I have also had songs that are Span-glish (combination English and Spanish) chart and they have had success. Examples include: Enrique Iglesias' "Bailamos" (#2 - 1999); Las Ketchup's "The Ketchup Song" (#3 - 2002)
Also, I had an Itali-glish (combanation English and Italian) song chart in the top ten: Eiffel 65's "Cosa Restera (In A Song)" (#1 - 2002)
I think music is the universal language and if it's a good song, it doesn't matter what language the song is in. However, exposure is important thing. In America, the mainstream isn't exposed to much (if any at all) foreign-language songs. That's the main reason why my chart will stay an English-language dominated chart. Also, a majority of songs in the world (both domestic and international) are actually sung in English so the majority (English) far outweighs the minority (other languages), especially in English-speaking countries. However, there are some countries out there that have a majority of non-English songs. To prove the previous point, Ricky Martin and Marc Anthony have both had massive success with their non-English language albums but they had the incentive to make an English albums so they could be wider exposed. I believe that more Latin artists will try to break the mainstream than mainstream artists will go into the Latin genre. Additionally, an English language song is more likely to have success in a country that doesn't generally speak English than a non-English song in a English speaking country. I'm positive that my opinion is factual but if it isn't, feel free to correct me. Thanks!

FRENCH: Marc Dupré - "Entre deux mondes" (#35) I think some Céline Dion singles have charted as well, but I'm not positive.
SPANISH (partially): Los Lonely Boys - "Heaven" (#3? somewhere around there)

I've had about 20 non-English songs chart, 75% of them being in Spanish. I've had a handful of strange one-off songs make my chart because I was traveling and heard a song at the time.
Daddy Yankee (2), and Juanes (4) are the only ones to chart with multiple songs.
Here are the non-Spanish songs that have made it:
2004 - Blof - Opstand - Dutch, #5 2006 - Hip Hop Hoodios - Ocho Kandelikas - Ladino Hanukkah song, hit #1 for two weeks. 2008 - Tarkan - Arada Bir - Turkish, it hit #2 2008 - Farmer's Market - Lodtizsche Mimi Maritza- Bulgarian, not sure what possessed me to chart it. It hit #4 2010 - Matatoa'a - Manavai - Pascuense, the local language of Easter Island, the song hit #2 2012 - Gangnam Style - Psy - Korean - it hit #2.

Celine's "Parler A Mon Pere" is currently charting.
I have charted Spanish, French & Latin. In 2008 I charted a song that was half Mandarin.

Gangnam Style peaked at #11 for me. HyunA's "Ice Cream" might start charting soon.
