From PerezHilton:
This just in….
A new Beyonce album is expected to be released next year, around summer of 2008.
Guess she didn’t want to take that long “break” we suggested she enjoy!

I WAS GOING TO START THIS THREAD! SH!T!
Anyways, I can't wait for this. Bit*h*s better get ready. Beyonce is going to rule with her next album again. I think she is smarter now. "Irreplaceable" will probably be the blue print for the album since it is the biggest hit of her career. Expect for her album to be more pure pop than anything she has ever done.
This is likely to be her biggest and best album yet. As for her taking a break, why, when the music and performances are as great as it has been?
Get it Bee.

Girl works so hard. For further confirmation, here is an article:www.usatoday.com/life/people/2007-08-16-beyonce_N.htm?csp=34A whiff of Beyoncé's hectic schedule Would you like a sample?: Beyonce Knowles launched Emporio Armani Diamonds perfume Thursday at Macy's in New York. By Donna Freydkin, USA TODAY NEW YORK — Any monetary remuneration aside, Beyoncé Knowles gets one major perk from being the celebrity face of Giorgio Armani's Emporio Armani Diamonds fragrance. Tons, and she means tons, of very expensive clothes, gratis. "Now that I'm doing these appearances, they bring me racks of clothes — and I get to keep them," she says with a giggle. "All of them. Even the ones I don't wear that day. I have storage here and in Houston — I have to ship a lot of the clothes. It's too many great clothes. I've got no complaints. It's so cool." How many Armani gowns does she own? Knowles is stumped. "A hundred. A lot? It's very cool." So is being the first celebrity face of an Armani scent for Knowles, who loves smelling good. "I feel the sexiest after I take a shower, and I have on my lotion and perfume and my pajamas," says the singer, 25, who is dating rapper Jay-Z. "I feel comfortable, and I feel like I smell good. I love it." But if Knowles could bottle up any aroma in the world, "it would be my mom's food," she says. "When I walk into her house in Houston, it's the most comforting smell. It makes me feel like a kid again. I can't cook. My mom makes really good gumbo — we're Creole. And she makes really good soul food. Yams, they smell so good." Earlier Thursday, Knowles was mobbed by lines of fans at a meet-and-greet in the Macy's beauty department. She treated each fan, middle-aged women to tween girls, like a long-lost best friend. It's a lesson she learned from Will Smith during a signing with him for the Men in Black soundtrack when she was 15. "He was so nice to every person. I watched him. I knew he had to be tired, and I couldn't believe how nice he was," she says. "We were the last people he met. I said, 'I don't care if I ever get that famous: I will always be like him.' I always try to be as nice to the first person as to the last person and will make eye contact." Knowles, who's in the middle of her Beyoncé Experience world tour, just earned seven MTV Video Music Awards nominations. And she's still dancing in stilettos after falling down the stairs at her Orlando show while performing Ring the Alarm. Videos of the spectacular accident made the rounds on the Internet after being posted on YouTube.com, even though the star playfully asked the audience not to post it. "Yeah!" she says of her high heels. "I have blisters and my feet are turning into crazy-looking feet, but it's worth it. I guess." She plans on releasing a new album next summer, and then she will throw herself back into a movie role, preferably "something a little darker, but still a musical." Adds the Dreamgirls star: "That's my niche. I'm able to connect the drama with the music."

I wonder why that line wasn't quoted. I noticed that it was the only line the author didn't quote, so it might not be true.

She needs to take a break - she is overexposed. And she needs to come off it about putting clothes in storage - that does not help her consuming reputation. Perez is going to have a field day.

But she never went anywhere. I think people are over saturated with Beyonce and I feel that her next album wont be much of a commercial success.

"B'Day" is a really good album, and I don't think she's going to top it with her next. Next summer isn't that early for a new album IMO.

IMO Beyonce is the kind of artist who seems to evolve and get better every time. She is a much better vocalist now than she was back in 2003. Likewise, I'm sure her music will get better as well.

But she never went anywhere. I think people are over saturated with Beyonce and I feel that her next album wont be much of a commercial success. Um, this album is coming out a year from now. That's more than enough time. Rihanna didn't wait a quarter that long, and has probably the best commercial album of the year.

I think she IS a bit overexposed, but she should be fine then.. A good lead single and she'll be good to go.

She's way too overexposed. She needs to wait till like 09 for her next album IMO.

I think this whole "overexposed" thing is overrated. Seriously, which pop star has killed their career by being overexposed for doing commendable things. Unlike Britney now, and Jennifer back in the Bennifer days, Beyonce is widely exposed for her big hits, heavy radio play and video rotation as well as branching out of the music world to establish a base. If she makes great music, the public will respond well to it.
Seriously, people have been calling her overexposed for years now, and it has not hurt her. Instead, 2007 has been one of her biggest years.

She'll be fine. Summer of '08 is a whole year from now...she doesn't have a single blowing up the charts now, and by that time, people will be ready for her.
No worries for Beyonce.

I really don't think a year from now is too soon. Me either. Without a single on the radio right know, I think people are already hungry for new Yolanda.

Plus, Beautiful Liar flopped, so we really haven't had much from her since Irreplaceable.

That's more than enough time. Rihanna didn't wait a quarter that long, and has probably the best commercial album of the year. That's Rihanna, this is Beyonce. Her Cd sales are deteriorating. DIL sold about a million and half more than B'Day in the states, right? And I don't think she'll sell more records than B'Day, which sold nearly close to 3 million albums in the states with her biggest hit ever. A lot of people didn't like that album and she loss a couple of fans with that album. Half of the people who bought B'Day might not even buy the next album. Plus, the overexposed thing will take a toll. It also seem like fans lose interest in their favorite artist around their 3rd album these days. I can't predict what will happen with Beyonce, but I think she'll top B'Day.

I also don't think 2008 is too early for Beyonce to release new material since "Irreplaceable" was her one big hit, and that peaked earlier this year. The B'Day era ended prematurely.
I have a feeling that Beyonce can top her debut and B'Day with this next CD. In the B'Day era, she really established herself as a vocalist and improved upon Dangerously In Love, and while it's a pretty good CD, I think the next one should be more consistent and contain a little less filler.

It also seem like fans lose interest in their favorite artist around their 3rd album these days. I can't predict what will happen with Beyonce, but I think she'll top B'Day. 3M now is more than 4.5M back in 2003/2004. Sales have TANKED since then. And considering she only had ONE big smash this time compared to 3 last time, she did much better with B'Day. Critics liked it more, she gained more respect, and her tour is getting amazing reviews. She's getting tons of endorsement deals, which means her star is bigger than ever. And IMO she gained more fans with B'Day. I HATED DIL and thought it was the most overrated piece of crap ever, but B'Day is all around hottness. I hope this next album tops both her previous albums. I'm pretty sure she can do it.
