LOL wow zaclord!! nice research ;)
i think FoTF might be a single too. I just wouldnt use the logic cuz its the first single, but rather because its an awesome song!

*Chris Cagle "Anywhere But Here" 1. You Might Want To Think About It *Van Zant "Get Right With The Man" 1. Takin' Up Space *Tim McGraw "Live Like You Were Dying" 1. How Bad Do You Want It? *David Lee Murphy "Tryin' To Get There" 1. I Like It Already *Jimmy Wayne "Jimmy Wayne" 1. After You *Rascal Flatts "Feels Like Today" 1. There You Are
None of those songs were released, nor did they give the album its title (and at least 3 singles were released from all of those. I have a couple other examples, but only two singles were released). I'm fully aware that more often than not, the first song is one or the other, but it's not a 99% slam dunk.

i dont have the full Chris Cagle or Jimmy Wayne albums and i was just using the most recent albums from each or it would have been longer... i own nothing from David Lee Murphy. "Where You Are" by RF was set to be the 4th single, but they had such a great response from "Skin (Sarabeth)" that they decided to release that instead... (heard it from them on the radio) what was Van Zant's 3rd single from the 1st album? but it's not a 99% slam dunk. well from my research it is a 98% slam dunk ;) jk... but its more than likely that FOTF will be released because it is the 1st song on the album and its a fan favorite

I'm still inclined to think that with three more singles coming from this CD, the next one figures to be a ballad.

what was Van Zant's 3rd single from the 1st album? "Things I Miss The Most". It was oinly like a #59 or 60 or something like that.

Well, just so I don't get accused of staying off topic too much, I must say that "Last Name" is doing awesome! If it rises to the top as fast as AAG, it should be #1 in about 11 or 12 weeks, just in time for summer!! And just in time for the next summertime tune, "Crazy Dreams" to be released after that.
I'd like to go on record right now and say that I don't think "Just a Dream" will be released at all as a single, and that the next ballad will be "You Won't Find This". "Flat On The Floor" will be the 6th and final single released to close out the album and 7 amazing songs will remain stuck on the album for us to listen to only on our personal listening devices. There....that should stir up some trouble!!! Have a nice day!!!
P.S. Good work Zac in backing up what I said all along!!! An album's 1st song is released as a single more times than not! See ya!!

The odds of Just a Dream not being released as a single are around the same as the odds Before He Cheats had of not being released as a single on Some Hearts. :)

'Flat on the Floor' is much better than this song. I wish that one was released insead. Hopefully it will be next, though I think a ballad is coming.

It was oinly like a #59 or 60 or something like that. oh yeah, that would qualify under my list of songs that had a failing last single so they moved on. your welcome queensporsche. but we all know JAD is gonna be a single eventually ;) i hope "Crazy Dreams" is not released. i am not too crazy about that one. if they release a 'summer song' for the summer, i hope its "Get Out Of This Town" or "Twisted" then followed by JAD and FOTF. but then that would exclude "You Won't Find This" i have a feeling that YWFT is gonna be the "That's Where It Is" of CR. TWII should have been released, but it wasnt :( i bet YWFT wont be either

^Well, on the Real-Time Tracker, Kenny has the Most Increased Audience. I'm sure Carrie is pretty close, though.
When is your summer break? I really doubt this will go #1 before June. Brad Paisley and Rascal Flatts' songs are only 3 weeks older than LN, and I expect at least one (if not both) will go to #1 before LN and stay there for a couple of weeks. There is also a chance that Kenny's song may pass LN and go to #1 first, but we'll just have to wait and see.
I am going to predict it will peak around mid to late June with the next single being announced sometime in July

Neither of my local Country stations has picked this up yet. :(
I've heard 2x on KFRG, but that's only b/c the one time was after the concert (3/13 @ Honda Center in Anaheim), and the other was yesterday on the way home from my brother's (he lives south of me in the Irvine area)... Can't pick up the Frog at my home.

This debuts at #14 on R&R callout. Wow, it's higher than AAG and SS's debut number, right?

Can't pick up the Frog at my home. Could be worse, John. I live in the market of the absolute worst station when it comes to adding new music. They added "So Small" about a month too late, and they added "All American Girl" six weeks too late. Both songs ended up in heavy rotation (where AAG is now) so that means I'll probably have to wait about 2 months for "Last Name" to get added. It's not just Carrie, though. They *just* added "I'm Still A Guy" this week. They added "Picture To Burn" last week, and they added "Every Day" two weeks ago. They *still* haven't added "What Kinda Gone." Yet, they are playing "Gunpowder & Lead," "Til I Was A Daddy Too," and "Braid My Hair" (go figure).

This debuts at #14 on R&R callout. Wow, it's higher than AAG and SS's debut number, right? The callout thread only goes so far back, but looks like SS debuted at #22 or lower. AAG debuted at #15. So yes, LN has the highest debut of the 3.

I actually am not all that worried about the video. Looking back on it, BHC talked about alcohol, "getting lucky", and many other things that are not suitable for carrie's younger fanbase. hoewver, there was not that much outcry over it, but moreso for the destruction of vehicles.
last name just goes along those lines, and if alcohol or kissing isnt present, it MIGHT not stir up the christian and other fans!!
