Interesting choice for second single. I doubt this will have much impact on Pop but it may do better on Urban.

I would try to pick one of the other best songs (Can't B Good) and see how that does, if that makes any impact, then they release 2nite when everyone is paying attention. They can't release it with no one paying attention, then they just ruined their best single besides Feedback.

Like I said, this should do well on Urban. I don't see Pop embracing this. I think "2nite" would have done the opposite; better on Pop than Urban. I think "Rollercoaster" could do equally well on a few formats. Either way, I hope she has some success with this song as it's probably my favorite ballad on the CD. :)

This went for adds on UAC and went no where, why on earth would they release this to pop. if they are going for a ballad greatest x and never let you go would be better for singles but I am just happy they are still interested in the project, and I feel at this point it doen't matter because it aint like radio was supporting her to begin with. there is no reason that feedback/ luv should of flopped. I hoenstly don't think they pushed rock with u for a single because they never even submitted the video to mtv/vh1. and the day after it supposly went for adds, the adds on allaccess disappeared and they pushing feedback again. who knows they need to stick a song and stand by it.

I hope the version being released to pop is a remixed version complete with new vocals...or at least a new beat. I don't see how the original version would work for Pop radio at all.

I am just really hoping they are just testing becuase the add date isn't untill the 9th or they planning a remix. a while a go somebody on the xone suggested a remix of this song with Neyo, now that would work

^ That wouldn't work either.
"Feedback" couldn't even take off at radio. Janet needs to just tour, and stop releasing these horrible singles. "Can't B Good" couldn't even move on UAC, and they expect it to move on POP? In their dreams. Who wants UAC rejected leftovers? The irony of the situation is "LUV" and "Feedback" are even doing better on that format.
Why are they ignoring "LUV"? Is someone paying LA Reid/Island to make every wrong decision in terms of handling Janet's project? It hasn't even been 2 months since the album release, and she's already on the 4th single? This is a disaster.
Janet was better off at Virgin. Her career is DONE.

This song is sooooo boring to me. And on pop?!? Oh my god, another flop. As if Rock With U wasn't bad enough.
I like Janet, but I have no idea why she didn't release Luv on pop...or even Greateast X, 2nite, Rollercoaster, or The 1

She only need a good promotions. That's it. Releasing new single without promotion will be a flop. Please, do like what Mariah, good promotion, or her career = end. Mariah had 2 flopped album and could be on top again. But Janet had 3 consecutive flopped album (Damita Jo, 20 YO and Disipline), what more can i say. Maybe she can make real come back sometime like Mariah did in 2005, who know in 3, 4, or 5 years, but not now.

This is so hilarious to me. This is as embarrassing as Nicole Scherzinger's era. At least her album didn't come out. Janet needs to just go on tour and reconnect with the fans. This is a mess. I hope they don't waste more money doing a boring video.

Yes, it's unlikely to do much of anything at Pop radio (like anything from the album at this point).
Plus, this already is a single of sorts, since it already went for play at Urban AC.

Unless Janet and IDJ are plotting something larger than life....I say they need to not even waste their time....but you never know....

This has to be one of the most embarrassing eras ever for a superstar in pop music. It's just downright laughable at this point and the way her career and legacy have been deteriorating since 20 YO has been very disappointing and almost unbelievable.
I'm not even going to begin and ask questions like "Why didn't they try and focus on "Luv" first?" because I could spend days here wondering about the (poor) decisions of this era.
Can't B Good on pop = WOW.

Well, it started with Damita Jo, which was the Nipplegate era. That album scanned less than 1/3 of what All For You did, so that was the start of the decline.
Anything right now would be a challenge, but "Feedback' was the best route to go for a first single- like said, anything would have a tough time at radio at this point.
