Anyone else think the intro of this song sounds Journey-esque?

they were AMAZING! in concert! they sang "Lookin' For A Good Time", "Love Don't Live Here", and "All We'd Ever Need" at the Opry, and at LP Field. i am guessing that "All We'd Ever Need" will be the 3rd single. i hope so!
i also got to meet them on Friday! i got my picture taken with them and i signed a release so that they could put it in a magazine or something. i thought that was pretty cool! they are great people and amazing performers!

Me too. The more I hear LFAGT, the more I'm disappointed in it. It's just not single material IMO. Oh well. I still hope this does well.

and also, when i went to get their autographs they were playing "Love Dont Live Her" "Lookin For A Good Time" "All We'd Ever Need" and "Long Gone" repetitively. so i wonder if "Long Gone" will be the 4th. i really hope so! "Long Gone" and "All We'd Ever Need" will both be huge hits. esp "AWEN"

Please tell me they are doing like they did with LDLHA and that this isn't the actual video to the song.
There, fixed.

I was okay with this song being a single (it's fun for the summer, and it always gets a great reaction live) until I realized they caved and changed the lyrics. Why is it okay for Carrie Underwood to release a song about getting so wasted she marries a guy she doesn't even know, but it's not okay for Hilary to sing the line, "would you get the wrong impression if I called us a cab right now?" Now I'm just disgusted and waiting for a third single.
Speaking of, I'd love to see "I Run to You" be a single eventually. The House Foundation on WSIX has been playing LBT's "Fine Line" since before APTL was released, and now it's finally going to be a single; recently they've been playing "I Run to You," so I'm hoping they can work the same kind of magic again, lol.

On the first few listens I think I prefer this one to "Love don't live here". It may just be me, but does anyone else think Hillary sounds almost exactly like Miranda Lambert in places in this song? It may just be me though!

I didn't realize they edited the words. I will have to take a listen to the new version. I hate it when they do that!

I find the song "okay", but I have a feeling they chose it so that they could introduce listeners to Hillary.

Ok, so the line about would you dance with me instead of the cab sounds totally stupid! Ugh, it's not like edititng this one line changes the implicit message of the song. I don't get why they would mess with that one line only??

^i agree. Her voice just adds a whole other dynamic. She sounds amazing on "Home is where the heart is"!!
How did they edit it this song, like what are the lyrics now?

The one line used to be "would you get the wrong impression if I called us a cab right now?"
Now, it's something like, "would you get the wrong impression if I asked you to dance right now?"

It may just be me, but does anyone else think Hillary sounds almost exactly like Miranda Lambert in places in this song? It may just be me though! Some of Hillary's phrasing choices sound exactly like Natalie Maines' to me. And I think Miranda's stylings draw somewhat from those of the Dixie Chicks, so I guess by the transitive property, I kind of agree with you? Speaking of Miranda, it would be fun if she released "Guilty in Here" next as her contribution to the notion that current country radio is a real den of sin. I think this was the right choice for 2nd single, because its hooks are ridiculously catchy, more so than any other song on the album. I really enjoy the verses of this song (and the way Charles Kelley sings them), and the bridge works, too. But the chorus is too sing-songy for the lyrics, in my view. Overall, the song isn't anything new, and it relies heavily on the charm of the melody and the singers to sell it. For me, this is cotton candy fluff that works just fine as long as I don't think about it. That's not how I typically like my music, but it's fine for one song. Their album hasn't aged all that well for me but I still love "Love Don't Live Here" and "Slow Down Sister," and I'm a fan of the overall vibe they bring to their music.

I find the song "okay", but I have a feeling they chose it so that they could introduce listeners to Hillary. yeah and they will continue do that on the 3rd single with "All We'd Ever Need" that Hilary has a big solo part in and not just 3 solo lines in this song. and then i believe they will release a song ("Long Gone") that is only Hilary singing with Charles just doing background (opposite of "Love Don't Live Here").

gosh, i love all their songs (except SDS), and this one really rocks it out for summer!!! i want to hear more Hil, i hope you are right zaclord, and long gone gets released eventually (or home is where the heart is!!)
btw, that is soooo stupid that they changed the lyrics in this song. if they were so concerned about it in the first place, they shouldn't have recorded it

How do you know AWEN is going to be the 3rd single? i am just assuming since they only performed their 2 singles and AWEN at the Grand Ole Opry and CMA Music Festival when i saw them. and at their autograph booth they were playing "Love Don't Live Here", "Lookin' For A Good Time", "All We'd Ever Need", and "Long Gone" over and over and over and over again. only those 4 songs. now i don't know anything for certain, but they have stated that it was the first song that they wrote together and it is really special to them because AWEN is what led to Lady Antebellum becoming the group they are today. i am fairly certain AWEN will be released

Thanks!

^GET IT! It's awesome.
As for the change in lyrics, that stinks and seems like it will mess the vibe of the song up. Glad I hardly ever listen to the radio. This song is so good though, I listened to it about four times yesterday.
I would definately go with "All We'd Ever Need" next and I think that's where they're headed, but that's still a ways off. Did anyone at Fan Fair notice that chemistry between Charles and Hilary during AWEN? I thought they were gonna kiss or something, haha.

Ya, they always have the chemistry like that on stage for that song....to me, that's what makes the song what it is.

The more I hear this, the most disappointed I am that "Slow Down Sister" isn't the single.
I love the album and think this song is great, but I'm a bit nervous about how well it will do and I think if they weren't going to go with a song Hilary sings lead on, they may as well have just gone with the surefire smash, "Slow Down Sister".
