I'm really liking this song, maybe even better than LDLHA. The lyric change is a bit odd. "Last Name" makes that one line sound tame.
As an aside, Lady A opened for Reba this week. 15 years after Does He Love You topped the country charts, Reba's singing it in concert with Linda Davis's daughter. Pretty cool.

That would have been awesome to see. Wonder how Hillary sounded? I've been waiting for a clip to pop up on youtube. One did but it's not the best. Oddly, the sound speeds up when the camera zooms in. In any event, it sounds like Hillary does a great job...and the crowd goes bananas for her. www.youtube.com/watch?v=3ppYbG_rExQ

Have people actually been hearing the lyric edited version of this on radio? Sirius plays the original version (as they do with Taylor's Picture to Burn), and I think XM does too but I can't be sure (I don't listen to XM as much, and not absolutely positive I've heard this there yet, but I know I've never heard the edited version).

My station always played the "gay" version of Picture to Burn, so maybe they'll play the album version of this song too.

Some of the stuff they play on the radio is a lot worse than the Lady A. edit--- and I love these guys. Their CD IS amazing! This will be a fun single-- and is a fun video too.

i absolutely love Lady A! i am really loving this song right now, but i am also listening to "Long Gone" and "All We'd Ever Need" constantly! those 2 songs are just beyond amazing (IMO). i hope they both get released at some point! and i hope this one does well on the charts and gets them another top 5!

I agree, especially with "Ever Need" -- and Hillary's duet with Jim Brickman -- "Never Alone" is so pretty too--wish they would have tried to do that as a bonus cut...

I find this song somewhat enjoyable and I'm trying to be more open-minded of late in listening tio newer artists. This isn't the best song I've heard from them IMO, but tonight on Sirius I heard one of the best I've heard from them so far, a song called "I Run To You". It's excellent. And last week I remember hearing another song from them as well, but I don't remember the name. Anyway, sounds like they have more potential hits up their sleeve.

Okay folks. I am admitting I am wrong so pay attention. While I don't think this is anywhere near the best album I have ever heard, let alone the best album of the year, this is growing on me. There are a few songs on the album that I will skip, for the most part it is a great album. I am glad that Lookin' was the choice for the second single and feel that All we ever need has to be the next single. I hate admitting that I am wrong (just ask my wife) but this is a good album.

Hillary is the main singer but Charles does provide backing vocals.
Jim does nothing but play piano. Matter of fact, I don't think he's ever sung at all.

if they toured with Carrie, i would buy those tickets in a heartbeat. that would be a concert to die for! It really is :). I've seen them open for Carrie a couple of times. They're also going to open for Carrie on July 21 in Delaware, and I'll be attending that show too. These are just one off dates, not part of a full tour.

I saw that and it was great. If they are that good acappella then they must be outstanding with a band.

This one isn't really taking off. 5 weeks in and still not in the Top 40. I'm not saying it's reason to panic yet, but you would think a talented group like this would move a bit faster, especially following a hit like "Love Don't Live Here".
I still think "Slow Down Sister" was the better choice, but I hope this one can take off eventually.

The more I listen to Lady Antebellum, the more I love them. If I had to pick a next single after "Looking for a Good Time" it would have to be "Things People Say". It's a great song, and I just dont see "Slow Down Sister" really going anywhere. It's not bad, but just not as strong as some of the other material on the album.
If you have yet to buy this album, do it. It's totally worth the money.
