this is a really good song, hopefully country radio will find room for someone with a more traditional sound

I am unhealthly obsessed with this song. I LOVE the fact that its more traditional, even though i am a big supporter of the Carrie/Taylor sound that is prominent in country these days. I really think this should do well...at least, it deserves to!!! The video is very nice as well.

According to the official website, the release date for Call Me Crazy has been moved UP to Tuesday, October 7th, 2008! And here's the album cover: I'll admit: I don't like it at all, but whatever. I hope most people like it, though lol.

I'll overlook the album cover.....for the (hopefully) great music inside!! Love love....Last Call....and hoping that's just the tip....

why is this being pushed up so much? "Last Call" isn't even top 40.

why is this being pushed up so much? "Last Call" isn't even top 40. Someone in the albums thread thought it might be to get the album out before Kenny's and Toby's. I personally don't think it makes much sense, because the song is barely moving on MB, and probably won't even be T30 when the album comes out. It doesn't matter to me though, I'm just looking forward to new music from Lee Ann.

^ Cute video. I wish it would scare the dang programmers to actually add the record. I expected a slow climb, but I'm getting nervous now. I figured this would at least be in the top 40 by now. Both my girls (the other being Gretchen) are sticking together on the chart... at a snails pace.

Wow that was hilarious. I was thinking they're just trying to get this album released and perhaps drop her from the label but this is quite the promotional piece so I guess my theory is shot down. I hope it does well!
The best part was, "She's probably looking for booze." I'm stil laughing.

That was pretty funny. Good for Lee Ann (and her team) for making this. I hope this gives "Last Call" a boost.

Now that this wonderful song will be debuting on some of the countdown shows this coming weekend (including Bob Kingsley's 'CT40', as well as 'The Crook & Chase Coundown') I hope many more PDs will give this exquisite song a shot.
October 7th can't get here fast enough; getting new music from her is always wonderful.

That promotional video was hilarious. Good stuff.
This song is very good too. Anyone know if Shane is related to Mac McAnally?

You can hear one track off the album on the official website each day. Yesterday's was supposedly "The Bees" (the collaboration with Keith Urban): leeannwomack.com//mediaplayer.aspx?mid=1181I'm loving it! Unfortunately it doesn't play the whole song, but it's really good.

I really wish radio wasn't afraid to play this song, but at least Lee Ann gets respect from the critics.

It may have taken her 12 weeks, but she's finally top 40. I hope this will be the push that the song needs to get moving.

I strongly recommend her debut CD from 1997; Bob Kingsley played 'The Fool' on CT40 this week immediately after 'Last Call', and pointed out that 'The Fool' became her first top ten single in 1997.
It eventually reached #1 at R&R.
