Wow, I'm really stumping everyone with that #65 song, aren't I?
A slightly easier clue for #65. It's the same song that was on the chart in 2004, but it isn't.
BTW, 63 and 61 were correctly guessed. :)

friday got it right, it was Numb/Encore.
60) A lesson in distributing cards, perhaps?
59) Had the follow-up not been released as soon as it was, this song might have done a little better (although it did hit the Top Ten).
58) I'm gonna ride this in the morning, Lord.
57) A reverse title of a Top Five hit from the early fall of 1986.
56) This memorable song recently peaked in the Top Five.
GOOD LUCK!!

Every one of those was correct except for #56. (did I not mention earlier that "Photograph" is in the upper half of the chart)?
#56 peaked in the Top Five more recently than "Photograph", BTW.

You got it! Now we'll head to the mid-point of the chart:
55) There were two songs that charted on the Hot 100 with this title in 1987.
54) Another song from the top artist of 2005 (well, not in my book...)
53) You might say this to your newborn when you return from your business trip.
52) This title charted twice in 2005, once by a patriotic father and then, by a dog. The dog's song is the one in question.
51) This song reminds me a lot of "Missing Your Love" by Jonny Lang.
GOOD LUCK!!

Easier clues? Well, OK...
55) The first of the songs with this title that hit the Hot 100 back in 1987 missed the Top 40 completely. The other one spent only a single week in the Top 30 in October, 1987.
51) This song was incorrectly guessed at least once in the game. I think it sounds like "Missing Your Love", others thought it sounded like AC's first #1 song in 2001.

How is 50 Cent the "top artist" of 2005??? He had a bigger year than Kelly?

^50 Cent was the Top Artist. Kelly was only the Top Artist on Pop radio.

I'd say that 50 Cent was ONE of the top artists of 2005 but he certainly was not THE top artist of 2005. There's a difference.

I meant the top artist in that he had the most songs on the chart, five of them (I don't believe anyone else had more within the chart year). At one point, all five of them were on the chart simultaneously.
No, Kelly Clarkson was definitely the top artist as far as chart performance goes. Some of those 50 Cent songs didn't even hit the Top Ten whereas Kelly Clarkson peaked at number one with three of her four songs, and the one that missed came in at #2.
Anyway, top40dj's guesses were both wrong. Those songs were guessed correctly (of course, I've been lax on updating the chart at the top of the page).
55) In my last clue, I gave a vague hint as to the artist who sings the song that barely hit the Top 30.
51) A popular answer on a test that's not essay or multiple choice.
GOOD LUCK!!

Very good. Wow, I'm really stumping y'all with #55, huh? Well, this next clue (actually a slightly different version of an earlier clue) should give it away:
55) The first of the songs with this title that charted on the Hot 100 in 1987 missed the Top 40 completely (after their last two hits had hit the Top Ten). The Other One spent a single week in the Top 30 in October, 1987.

Top40dj was correct, the song was indeed "Holiday". Boy, for awhile there, I thought I was going to have to be very obvious and say something like "What was Madonna's first Top 40 hit?"
Now to kick off the Top 50:
50) A few years ago, an asteroid and the Earth were said to be predicted to do this.
49) The second hit by a group with a slightly suggestive sounding name
48) This song, from early 2005, reminds me of "No More" by 3LW.
47) A fox wanted this about nineteen years ago.
46) The opening notes to this song were sort of like the guitar riffs of songs like "Meant To Live" and "My Happy Ending". Only the instrument on this song was different.
GOOD LUCK!!
