At least it's hanging in there. They could do an emergency Dolls performance to manipulate this into the Top 10 hehe.

Yeah because Interscope is a capable intelligent label that gives the Pussycat Dolls (oops! I mean the Pussycat Dolls featuring Nicole Scherzinger) grrrreat management. With Interscope's track record this era they'll put them on TV to perform "Whatcha Think About That" and "Whatchmacallit..." which would not only decrease album sales but actually might have thousands flocking back to their local Best Buy to return the album after finding out how horrible those tracks they were skipping are...

this is back up to #5 on canada itunes and #1 on canada pop itunes. this song has great staying power. Wow! That's great. Combine that with decent airplay (especially on Hot AC) and this single has a good chance of making its way back to the Top 5 on the Canadian Hot 100. Although it looks like the challenges facing this single on CHR in US are beginning to show on the format in Canada as well - it's been unbulleted since early in the week (Flo Rida is #1 and T.I./Justin also passed this single, Kelly Clarkson will eventually do the same). On Hot AC, it's a different story as this has more room to move up even with Nickelback, Taylor Swift, The Fray and Kelly Clarkson all ahead and also fighting for spins - there's still a good chance for this to hit Top 5. And for the second straight week, it was one of five songs that had the biggest airplay increase in the format. It also remained #8 this week in overall Canadian radio airplay.

In a bizarre twist, this had a +111 on the Quick Cut information.

And it's likely to pass this single sometime this week. Once this single falls below 5000 spins, I will discontinue posting daily updates.

Mediabase Quick Cut records the spin count for all stations in a particular format and not just the published panel that we all follow on this board. So today's update records a spin count of 5871 when all stations are included, as opposed to 5184 with the published panel. On a side note, this single is in power rotation in LA - both on the new AMP station (119 spins) and KIIS (96 spins, +45 from last week). Another station in California has also pushed this single for a major increase in spins by as much as +59. As for Z100 New York, it's down at 57 spins (-2 from last week).

12 12 PUSSYCAT DOLLS I Hate This Part 5184 5131 53 35.941 Spins: -19 Bullet: -34 Audience: -0.003 12 12 PUSSYCAT DOLLS I Hate This Part 5145 5137 8 35.981 Spins: -39 Bullet: -45 Audience: +0.040 This single continues to build its audience but is clearly losing in both spin count and bullets. Unless some miracle happens for this single to get a massive bullet reading this week and suddenly skyrocket up the charts, I think this single's run to the top has officially come to an end. Yet despite these losses, some stations have pushed this single up to power rotation, based on figures from today's update, led by two CHR/Top 40 stations in LA: KLSX-FM (Amp Radio) in LA - 121 spins KIIS - 93 spins (+35 from last week) 2 other stations with 90+ spins (one of the stations had a spin increase of +46 from last week) Other key stations of note (big markets): Z100 New York - 60 spins (+2) WXKS Boston - 59 spins (-6) WIOQ Philadelphia - 45 spins (+4) Phoenix - 53 spins (+20) Yet as impressive as this may look, it's more or less "too little, too late". Had some of these stations along with others pushed this single for more spins a few weeks back like they're doing now, it would have easily been a Top 10 hit. And now here is what will probably be my final analysis for this single. What went right: After a slow start recovering from the disaster of "Whatcha Think About..." this single finally moved up the charts through late November and December until stalling in the mid-20s over the holidays due to the annual chart freeze. After the holidays, the single continued its climb up the charts thanks to a high bullet reading and with a little help from songs that peaked late last year and were trending downward towards recurrent status. This single also had some friendly competition with The Veronicas in their race to the Top 10, and in a strage turn of events, both songs would not only flip-flop ranks on some days, but also post opposite updates (i.e. PCD gain, Veronicas loss and vice versa). In the end, this single managed to pass them and pull away to get as far as it did as a result. On somewhat of a bittersweet note, this single managed to crack the Top 10 one week although briefly - for only two days at #10, but it is unofficial since its stay in the Top 10 did not last long enough to make the published chart the following weekend. Hence, its official peak is at #11. Where it went wrong: When the single came close to cracking the Top 10 - and so many opportunities emerged for this to happen. Although it continued to gain spins, it quickly became a victim to singles with massively large bullets that caught up, came from behind and simply overtook them on their way to the top. So far one of these singles just happen to be at #1 as of today's update. Interestingly enough, it all started as this single was fighting to make its way into the Top 20, it was in a three-way horse race with the All-American Rejects and The Fray back in mid-January. Since then, both of their singles have officially made it into the Top 10. Not long after that, Kelly Clarkson's latest single skyrocketed up the charts easily passing this one just two weeks after its release to radio. It was by then this single started losing momentum - while it continued picking up spins, the bullet started to weaken as it was getting close to the Top 10. The Fray passed them in early February, followed by T.I./Justin and Flo Rida, both of whom essentially made the Top 10 out of reach and sealed their fate. What's next? This single will get passed yet again this week by Ne-Yo and likely Lady GaGa, then slowly start moving downward. With this single's run concluding for the Dolls, it will make way for their release of two follow-up singles, the first one being the English version of A.R. Rahman's "Jai Ho! (You Are My Destiny) off the "Slumdog Millionaire" soundtrack which is expected to reach the Top 50 this week and "Bottle Pop" which is expected to be the next single off their album "Doll Domination". Last but not least, I have re-thought my decision and will continue posting updates given its continued audience gains, and until this single falls down a few more ranks, and has negative readings across all categories (particularly a bullet of -100 or more).

I believe this single officially peaked at #10 on the Billboard Pop 100 and stayed for two weeks at #1 on the Hot Dance Club Play chart (thanks to the remix version).
These were the only charts in the U.S. where this single was able to officially chart in the Top 10.
Put both this single and "Untouched" as songs so far this year that were deserving of being Top 10 on the official charts but were heavily denied.
And there surely will be more joining this list as the year goes on.

Plus it peaked at #4 on Hot Digital Songs and #5 on Hot Digital Tracks.

Yeah, this peaked high on Hot Digital Tracks, and it was soooo close to top 10, that's why I'm dissapointed. I really want the Dolls to do one more major performance that could boost downloads, since airplay is about to peak.
