This will be the first single from Danielle's second record by the same name which will be released on December 23 digitally only. This single will go to radio sometime in January but not have a huge label push behind it.
This is a remake of a pop song for about 3 years ago by Courtney Jaye.
There was thought that Big Machine was dumping this record and then going to drop Danielle, but apparently the tides have turned. She is already working on her 3rd record because they felt that most of the material on the second wasn't the direction they wanted her to go in. The only downside to this whole thing is that the FABULOUS song Do It For Me will be dumped with the 2nd record and really never have the chance to be the huge hit it should be.
As far as Can't Behave goes, not a great song comeback with after a year and a half.

hmm... i have 14 songs of hers that have previously been on her myspace that have never been on an album (including the single "Bad For Me"). i hope the album does not contain any of these because i would like new material. i do hope "Do It For Me" is included though. plus i know "Can't Behave" will be on the album so there could be a lot of songs for the album.

Danielle is such a great artist. This cd is just as great as her debut. I don't understand why she doesn't have more success. I wish she'd get more support from her label. There are so many great female vocalists that just don't seem to get the success they deserve.
"She Just Likes To Cry" is absolutely amazing! I really hope she releases it, accompanied by a tear-jerker video, it could do really well!

I enjoy this song but I can't imagine any scenario in which it would crack the Top 40 without massive promotion, and since it won't be getting that, I will be happy if it charts.
I downloaded the songs I liked off of the album from iTunes, but overall I think her debut CD was much better than this sophomore disc. I really wish "Sucks To Be You" had been released as a single.

Sucks To Be You was probably the biggest miss by a label I can think of in recent history. Totally should have been a single.

Sucks To Be You was probably the biggest miss by a label I can think of in recent history. Totally should have been a single. I think they might have been a little leery of releasing a song with "sucks" in the title, never mind that both Montgomery Gentry and Emily West have used "life sucks" in a lyric. But then again, "My Give a Damn's Busted" went to #1 (and MG themselves had a Top 5 with "Hell Yeah"), so what do I know.

I knew I heard this song before. It's a cover from a girl named Courtney Jaye. You can hear her version on her myspace: LINK (in the music box, click where it says 'featured playlist' and scroll down). I like this version better. But I still love this song and hope it does well for her.

This is my favorite song from the new album. I can't see this getting much promotion from the label though.

Is there any chance of her changing record labels anytime soon?

Looks like there will be some label support for this after all, she will be filming a video for this single on January 20.

The label was surprised how well the digital album sold and thus has now decided to push this single from the album. I suspect if it does well enough they will release the CD physically (at least on a limited scale). Big Machine still likes her very much.
