Love this song. It's one that I've heard a dozen times in the past year but just put a name to it.

Yeah they've been using it in that commercial for forever. I forget what the commercial was for, though...

Interesting that it's getting a release. Definitely one of my favorite tracks of last year. Just a little information of the group: They're a Norwegian hip-hop duo, and apparently their name stands for Mad Conspiracy. "Beggin'" went 8x Platinum in their home country, and was subsequently released throughout several European nations, like France, Belgium, Austria (all #1), and other nearby countries, such as Israel (#11) and Turkey (#2). Awesome release.

lol, I wouldn't really consider Israel to be close to Norway, but whatever.

One of the biggest party songs of 2008 in the UK! While it's not exactly a masterpiece, I still love it.

Strange how Europe only sends us their odd and irritating music. I'm sure they can do better than this, right?

I recently discovered this song. I had been reading some good things about it and I had to check it out for myself. I really like it now. I think this one could do a little something in the U.S.

This song sucks hard. I really hope it doesn't become huge over the US, it's on radio all time, here in Portugal and it's damn annoying.

Hate this with a passion. We had to endure it, over in England, for months upon months last year. It is a hit...but it's got a bloody high burn rate.

It's pretty good... took me a few listens to get into, but I think it will catch on.

Billboard review:
Beggin' MADCON Producer(s): 3Elementz Genre: POP Label/Catalog Number: Next Plateau/Universal Republic
Unlikely Norwegian duo Madcon has a massive hit in Europe with "Beggin'," a retro soul groove that hit No. 1 in Norway and the top 10 in the United Kingdom, France and Germany. Tshwae Baqwa and Yosef Wolde-Mariam of Madcon (or Mad Conspiracy No. ±), bravely took on Frankie Valli & the Four Seasons' hit "Beggin' " with a vibrant vocal by Baqwa and an energetic rap twist from Wolde-Mariam. The magnetism that drew the music world to Gnarls Barkley's "Crazy" is present in "Beggin'," with the potential for mass appeal and a hook that should be on loop for months to come.

I still love this song and I don't understand why so many people dislike it. I think it's very engaging and fresh and one of the best uses of a sample I've heard in a while.

This is now unbulletted. I'm disappointed this song didn't do better. It'll probably be purged on the 21st. At least it broke top 40.

No, the AT40 is a couple weeks behind. I predict a rise to 39 next week, and then a dropoff.

it's a great song, a cover of a 70's song by Frankie Valli /The Four Seasons It's not from the 70's. It's from March, 1967.
