This sounds too AC (and slightly Country) for CHR. Maybe Pink can help it a bit though.

OMG! :o Butch <333 I'm very surprised he has decided to release his material mainstream. Anyhow, his amazing album deserves to get more attention and this song & Pink should really help! www.youtube.com/watch?v=kIzRcTb9oOcButch & Pink on Ellen.

This sounded alot better than I was expecting. I think it'll do moderately well. But yeah it does feel a little country flavoured lol.

I don't think it's all that different from some of the other slower singer-songwriter hits in the past couple of years. That said, I don't know if CHR/Pop radio is going to jump on this when Pink will have "Sober" still high on the charts and "Please Don't Leave Me" coming out while this would be out too.
I think if it's between playing Pink's own singles or a duet that she did with a guy that the casual radio listener is oblivious to, they're just going to stick to Pink's own singles.

Good timing to release this to jump on Pink's hotstreak since I don't think anything after Sober will go top ten.

I don't think Pink is in this enough for any of her other singles to affect it to be honest.

I really like this song, and loved Pink's voice in the Ellen performance! I hope at the very least it goes top 40 :)

Well this is a Butch Walker song, not a Pink song. So, it's pretty irrelevant whether this song is on the charts at the same time her singles are. She's only featured on the track and not sure if it's being marketed as a duet. Besides, it didn't make a difference when T.I. and Rhianna had their song together at the same time they both had their own singles on the charts. If a song is hot, it's hot. It shouldn't matter if either artist already has a single out. :)

hi im new to the boards but ive been viewing for a bit now... i love butch so i thought id pick this thread to say hi.. itll be interesting to see how mainstream stations react to butch and this song, i think pinks vocals sound so nice next to butch so that should help. :) also i was on all access and it does say feat pink so that might answer your question 'music is freedom'.

that chart is physical singles. Not digital. If Billboard published it, then its true.

Yeah same here...really like "The Weight Of Her" - hopin Pink can help him get some play on mainstream formats (besides Triple A)

I had this song on repeat for such a long time, and when i do that, it definitely means something, so this will be big!! And P!nk will help Butch to get a top 40 hit at least, cuz this song is too good not to do that! I am really glad that P!nk will have 2 singles on the radios at the same time. AWESOME!! :)
