Megan was kicked out on Idol last night, and is therefore the 9th place finalist of this season! I loved her, and can't wait for the Finale to see her again, and the Idol tour this summer!!! I hope she records an album, because all her idol studio recordings are Amazing!! Anybody else want a album from her??

I liked her to begin with but I think all her top 13 performances were awful and it put me right off. I would be stunned if she managed to get a deal.

I doubt she'll get a deal. BMG won't sign her, and it's going to be half a year before labels are even allowed to look at her. So the only way she'll get a major label contract is if she has some really good arranging or songwriting expertise, which judging by her performances I don't think she has.

She was my favorite, but let's face it, this season is slim pickins as far as the girls go. But I do hope she gets a record deal and has some major success. Along with past contestants Jessica Sierra, Lindsey Cardinale, Gina Glocksen, and Carly Smithson... but I won't hold my breath.  |

I dont care if it's major or not!! I just want to hear music from her, and see her around! I hope she does modeling & ads or w/e! She's too beautiful, and talented to just disappear!

I was a Megan fan from the day I saw her auditions and I never expected her to win but I thought she would've gotten a lot further in the competition. However, her song choices were horrible more often than not and it was bound to catch up with her. I kinda feel like she tried to do riskier songs because she didn't want to be pigeonholed but there's plenty of time for that after the show - when you're on AI, the objective is to win so you should always play to your strengths and she failed to do that.

(I nearly lost my marbles when she sang Karla Bonoff's "Standing Right Next to Me.") I am a bit of a closet Melissa McGhee fan myself (she rocked on Heart's "What About Love") I really liked Megan, and her voice sounds really solid on the studio recordings. She won't make it. I can see why people were drawn to her initially but there's simply not much noteworthy about her. Megan seemed like she had potential at first because she's pretty and quirky but I honestly think she doesn't have the right amount of star quality nor talent to be an Amy Winehouse or an Adele like the judges hoped she'll be.
