Probably top ten? It would be a MONUMENTAL disappointment in my book if this doesn't go at least top 5. Well, look at the CHR chart right now. It's not exactly in love with rock, so I'm not sure it will do as well as INO/Home/Over You. CHR is different then it was during their first era. I predict a peak in the lower half of the top 10, maybe around #6.

I like it. Not as catchy as some of his other stuff, but still a solid tune. Buzz alone should get it going well on CHR, first single from this era and all.

I think this is more tailored to the Top 40 than INO is. It's ridiculously catchy. It's like a mix of FLT and OY - very singalong-ish.

I was about to get all pissed that it wasn't up and then I read his tweet. For such a tough looking dude he seems really sweet. lol He is the biggest sweetheart. :) I've met him and he's so down to earth and genuinely sweet. OMG..I freaking love it. Very catchy. I almost have it memorized already.

I like this. The start kinda has the "Gotta Be Somebody" type ahhh ahhha thing going, which I like.
This is great.

It sounds good, but I really wanted a rocker :( Aw, the label probably wanted to target the Mainstream crowd first. I'm pretty sure there are some bad as$ rocking tunes also. I agree. :)

Its great, but I don't know why Chris tries to make his voice sound like Chad's from Nickelback. It sort of ruins the song for me.

I LOVE IT. Love the sound they came up with. I think it's perfect for radio right now and will be HUGE.
Hopefully they'll have a different release for rock.

LOL this would have to show up right when I go to uni. Anyway, I'll probably have to wait until I get home (7 hours later) to hear it, 'cause it's not working here. :(

It's more traditional pop songs and ballads that are suffering on the format right now. Though I will say based on first impressions I don't think this is strong enough to be a pop #1 like I hoped, since I agree it's definitely not on INO's level of catchiness. I'm guessing it has a very similar run to Home on CHR.

LOVE this. I think this is a chr/pop and Hot AC #1. It's GREAT! I can't stop listening.
I really like that it is kind of a different sound for them. It's always good to mix it up.

I figured out it's the verses that bring the song down for me a bit. I love the chorus and bridge, but the verses are a bit on the weak side, imo. Which I find odd since I LOVED the verses on all of the singles from the first album.

I think the song is OK. I think it's a grower though.

Huh, just noticed that a chunk of the lyrics aren't actually in the song, haha

I'm thinking maybe the version streaming is the radio/video edit.

New tweets from Chris:
THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR KIND WORDS! So sorry it took forever to get to ya! We love all y'all:)
I have to say that I'm so very proud of the guys on this record! They really knocked it out of the park

If you do a search for "No Surprise" on itunes, Daughtry is the first artist that comes up. What I've noticed lately is that when itunes puts a song in the search database they usually add it within two days. So I'd say Thursday at the latest.

After first listen, I'm not too impressed, but I don't like many songs after their first listens. I'm sure it'll grow on me.

One of the mods at DaughtryOfficial said this:
Looks like the earliest the song will be set up on iTunes is Wednesday morning gang, we'll keep you posted.
