Wow. Alice in Chains, AFI, and Breaking Benjamin all on the same day. I'm excited to see the Billboard 200 for that week.

Not to mention: Bowling For Soup - ‘Sorry For Partyin‘ Default - ‘Comes And Goes‘ Evergreen Terrace - ‘Almost Home‘ Hatebreed - ‘Hatebreed‘ One Without - ‘Thought’s of a Scheduled Mind‘ Slipknot - ‘Slipknot‘ (reissue)

Because he doesn't care about BB, I'm assuming.

The sales week will actually be interesting, that's for sure. Also being released on that date: Barbra Streisand, 50 Cent (let's see LOL), Miranda Lambert. Sounds like a big enough release week.

50 Cent? Well that's just great. At best this album will debut at number 3 after Phobia debuted at number 2.
*NOT bitter*

Well why else would he say that though? I mean, I doubt someone would be excited about the Billboard unless there's something coming out they want to see on the chart.

I guess I'm just in a picky mood. And naturally I have to confront Nick over his hatred of my favorite band.

Paramore, AFI, and Alice In Chains SHOULD all outsell BB, although I prefer BB over AFI and AIC, its just whats gonna happen. 50 will outsell BB too, and of course Madonna will probably be #1.
1. Madonna 2. 50 Cent 3. Alice In Chains 4. AFI 5. Paramore 6. Breaking Benjamin

I would put it in this order:
1. Madonna 2. 50 Cent 3. Paramore 4. AFI 5. Alice In Chains 6. Breaking Benjamin
...Though I prefer your order

50 Cent might not ultimately sell as much as some of the others but first week he might actually outdo all the rest. While Curtis opened up with 690k, far more than any title here, that also had everything to do with the competitive week with Kanye West.
I actually think Paramore and AFI have a pretty good shot, just as well. After Riot! became big enough and AFI have a loyal enough fan base to buy them week-out I feel my rationalizations speak for themselves. Riot! peaked at #15 but remember it was the breakthrough album and they hadn't become huge yet. 1.1 million is a good hit in these down sales times. AFI had higher debut numbers than BB last time and I predict that will just remain this time.
AIC will bring a lot of anticipation after 14 years, so there's something nice enough with that.
Madonna fans are likely enough to buy anything of hers but keep in mind it's not a studio album. But with an album cover like that it should sell something. :)
My predictions would put BB at #6 at best. But it would still have a chance to do over 100k opening like last time. Also depends on how popular the radio single happens to be.
The other two artists I mentioned will likely have nice enough debuts for the Top 10, too.

well Sean Kingston comes out the week before, and he could stick around to outsell BB in his second week too

I still suspect a delay in the release for the album. Although, my initial predicition of an December release may turn out to be way off the mark. I would still expect an October release at the earliest.

The only problem I see with that is that it's a very biased review. As a member of Tunelab, I can tell you with certainty that pretty much all of us love our BB. Just ask pen how his member-voted 128 band tournament ended up. Of course I'm excited, but I just can't take this guys' opinion and run with it.

Why isn't this out yet? I feel like I've been checking the end of this topic for months for someone saying it's released.

Naturally I have to confront Nick over his hatred of my favorite band. Hate is a strong word. But I really, really, really think they're just average (and completely overrated in the St. Louis listening area.)

I'm trying to imagine this as sung by the Plain White Ts, but it doesn't really flow very well.

This band? They're nothing amazing. I think their a very average band as well, as Nick said. I like Until the End and the Diary of Jane. Also Breathless. But they're no where near the top of my favorite bands.
