I like this for what it is, but I'm not entirely convinced I'd be as all over it as I am at the moment if it wasn't Madonna because I don't particularly like this type of music, really. Won't stand the test of time, although I'm looking forward to the remixes.

Haven't heard it yet, but the title alone makes me can't help but think it's a new version of Holiday, lol.

the production is very 1997 but it all somehow works cause of how she sings the lyrics. In the UK and Europe I heard theres a 'bit' of a 90s/techno/rave revival (seems a bit soon) but im sure she knows what shes doing! anyways this should easily be massive in many euro countries . As for the US lol, well hopefully she have huge itune 1st week sales

Listened to it. First off, no chance this is doing a thing on CHR, so I hope no one's expecting anything there. This is just...meh for me on first listen. It's nowhere near as instant as Hung Up and 4M were for me. I think it's too dancey, even for her. It will probably grow on me though.

This s**ts all over the Timber-fest piss contest that was 4 Minutes. Radio isn't going to play it that's a given that doesn't take away from it's quality though.

"Celebration" is about as close to rave as Miley Cyrus is to gangsta rap.

This s**ts all over the Timber-fest piss contest that was 4 Minutes. 4M was a purely catchy pop song that gets stuck in your head. It wasn't trying to be anything other than that, and it didn't need to be. With or without JT, it's one of the most infectious songs she's done this decade.

That song got massive radio support due to Timberlake being the radio darling of the moment. As far as I am concerned Timber-fest can take their farting synth-notes and go produce for someone else as that song never fit Madonna in the first place. Not to mention the fact that she was drowned out by uninspired Timbaland and over-exposed Timberlake. As to it being infectious- it sure was. It was as infectious and as enjoyable as a stomach virus. Quality had nothing to do with that songs success. Much like Hard Candy.

You may not like it and not think it fit her, but it IS a catchy song.

Nah, I still am not convinced it has a lyrical hook. The horns are the most memorable part of that song and I can barely remember the lyrics as it is. Regardless "Celebration" is where it's at.

Love Sex Magic for example, now that's a throwaway song that just rode Timberlake's coattails.

Yeah, just as I said not a memorable hook at all, you can embolden as much text as you like won't change anything.

Naw, 4 Minutes was better. Love this though! This. I don't think this will do much as far as radio goes. It sounds like something straight out of the 80's to me. (a lot like a semi-updated "Holiday")

Is this arguing really necessary? Some people like '4 Minutes', some people don't. Arguing over whether it's good or not is a complete waste of time.
