"Heaven" only has 20 weeks. Oh, I heard somewhere it was 22 weeks. Probably on AT10, since they count the holiday weeks, as long as the same song spans the holiday at number one (which is usually the case). BTW, I think that when KellyCFan said "Mainstream", he meant Mainstream AC, as opposed to Hot AC. Looks like Kelly Clarkson is going to be number one for all of 2005 with two different songs - "Breakaway" at Hot AC and "Since U Been Gone" at CHR/Pop. Fortunately, unless SUBG hits number one and stays there at Hot AC, she probably won't be #1 for that format. At this point, Green Day looks to have the top song for 2005 at HAC.

I sure hope that "Since U Been Gone" doesn't make the AC charts. I am so burned out on that song, and didn't really like it all that much in the first place.

Since U Been Gone doesn't seem like the type of song that would chart on AC at all, and neither does Kelly's current single, Behind These Hazel Eyes. However, her next single, Because Of You, has AC smash written all over it.

I don't think it will be to big on pop however.

Only Celine does not have the record. That honor belongs to Uncle Kracker/Dobie Gray's cover of "Drift Away".

Celine holds the record for female soloist, but not the overall record.

Rob Thomas is the only likely challenger who can prevent Kelly Clarkson from breaking Dion's (or is it Uncle Kracker's) record.
He probably has a good shot to top the vchart within the next four weeks since he's enjoyed a fast rise into the Top 10 and "This Is How A Heart Breaks" is not the type of song AC will want to pick up.
Sincerely, Noah Eaton

I'd like her to break Phil Collin's record of the most weeks at #1 for a Disney track. He got 19 weeks for "You'll Be In My Heart."

"Breakaway" is a Disney track?
Actually, Noah, Celine Dion is in a tie for third place as far as weeks at number one are concerned. "A New Day Has Come" actually only spent nineteen weeks on top (on R&R, anyway). "Heaven" spent 20 weeks on top and "Drift Away" spent 21 or 22 weeks on top.

On Billboard, Buble never hit the top, keeping all of Kelly's weeks at the top consecutive. The June 18 chart was her 16th week at #1, which means she has 3 weeks to go to match the Collins Disney record.
