"Breakaway" is a Disney track? It was the single for The Princess Diaries 2 movie. It's also the title track on her album.

When Savage Garden spent 124 weeks on Billboard with "I Knew I Loved You", they broke the record of 122 weeks. The old record holder? "Truly, Madly, Deeply"!

Looks Like Kelly got #1 again this week. How many weeks at #1 does that make now?

Looks Like Got #1 this week again. How many weeks at #1 does that make now? Apparently, only one. I've never heard of a song called "Looks Like Got". ;)

So Breakaway is still #1 on Billboard but not on R&R? Do they use different panels?

My prediction: Kelly will keep on reigning as #1 unless the BSB can overtake her. I'm giving her 26+ weeks either way though.

Well said, Nick!"
Don't get me wrong; I think "Breakaway is a good tune and all, but geez! I liked "Drift Away" too, before it ended up ruling the chart for nearly half of 2003. At least I don't hate either song as much as "Hero" by Enrique Iglesias. Now THAT song was way overplayed, partially due to the aftermath of the events of September 11, 2001.

As much as I'd like to see something break Kracker's record of 28 weeks at #1, I'd hate to see half a year at #1 become a regular thing. I thought "A New Day"'s 21 weeks at #1 was more than enough!

Well it hasn't been #1 on R&R for like 3-4 weeks now. On Billboard however, its still continuing its run at #1.

both actually...it's been #1 every time I've checked on both charts. Today, MB is close within about 20 spins or so. But yes, I don't think at official chart time, any will overtake her in the next 8-10 weeks

I have been checking out the mediabase chart for week after week now. I've never seen Kelly out of #1. But yes, I prefer BB over RR anyways. It's possible rob thomas will beat her, but if he doesn't, and the bsb don't, who will?

Kelly has been Keeping #1 on the maintream AC chart. If you are looking at just the AC chart. she won't be #1.
