Unfortunately, I only see this staying at #1 for only one week. If she receives an extra push, she might get a second week.

Congrats to Carrie on her 12th Mediabase #1 ... and about to become her 10th on Billboard.
It looks like this will spend 1-2 weeks at the top before Jerrod or Zac Brown takes over...

I hope it gets 2 weeks, since her last 2 singles only got 1 week each

Yep, another mediabase number one AND billboard number one. I'm hoping SWISLY will be released next. If everything falls into place, it looks like Undo It weil squeak in another week.

"What Can I Say" has 'fall single' written all over it -- so I would be shocked if it isn't released next...

It needs to be "Someday When I Stop Loving You" if they want a ballad.
If not, then "Quitter" REALLY needs to be released. It's such a different song for country radio. I think it'd be a risk. A risk that would probably pay off because Carrie is Carrie.
EDIT: Anything but "What Can I Say". I think it's the most boring song on the album and I have the hardest time getting through the whole song.

"What Can I Say" has 'fall single' written all over it -- so I would be shocked if it isn't released next... Why does it exactly have "fall single" written all over it? I think it's a pretty good song, but I think "Someday When I Stop Loving You" is even better and could work as the better release for the autumn months, since it is a ballad too. I wouldn't mind "What Can I Say" as a single, but I'd be really sad if SWISLY didn't get released next...then, I'd go with "Quitter" for the 5th and final single, since they more than likely wouldn't follow a ballad with another ballad...but who knows? Stranger things have happened.. Anyway... I think "Undo It" can get 2 weeks at #1, even if it has a slower week this week (less than 1 million in gains). I'm fairly certain ZBB will be next, but they are 3.3 million back right now. I guess ZBB could make a huge push and hope to overtake Carrie, because I sense them really pushing "Free" and the moment it hits #1, the lead single will be announced...but back to Carrie, just a bit of a gain could be enough to hold off ZBB unless they really turn on the jets...

SWISLY is by far my favorite song from her album. I think it's just a beautifully sung song. This is where her voice really shines. It's also time for another traditional sounding song from Carrie.

I would also be very disappointed if WCIS was released over SWISLY, because its a better song and its a choice that holds a higher artistic quality, with its being traditional-bent country. I think in the long run it would have a more lasting impact.
And I really hope this gets 2 weeks just to break the trend of 1-week stays she's got goin'

I don't think WCIS will be released over SWISLY. I'm getting the feeling it will be WCIS #4 and SWISLY #5. If WCIS is going to be released at all, it will be next. Perfect timing for some tour promotion as well.
I'm pretty sure we're going to get at least 5 singles from this album, and I will be shocked if SWISLY isn't eventually released. I just have a feeling it will be fifth, not fourth.

I also think we will more than likely see 5 singles from the album.
"What Can I Say" seems like more of a "radio-friendly" power-ballad compared to "Someday..." so it all depends on if they feel like taking a chance. It sure worked for Miranda with "The House...". Carrie just recently released a slow ballad with "Temporary Home', so I'm not sure if she's ready to release another. I like both songs -- "Someday..." just seems to have more of a winter feel to me, while "What Can I Say" seems to have more of a fall (in-between) feel to it. Of course there is also the option that "Quitter" will be tossed in the mix... but I personally don't think it will be next.
As for "Undo It", it looks like Carrie may indeed get 2 weeks at the top, as Zac Brown is climbing slower than I expected so far this week. It's early in the week though, so I think it'll still end up being a fairly close race...

Carrie said in an interview, that there will likely be 6 or 7 singles from this album.
Having said that, for single #4, I see them going with WCIS. It's perfect for the Fall and to help promote Sons of Sylvia. SWISLY is one of my favorite from the album, but I'm not sure if it's radio-friendly. Although I'm sure it will be a single at one point.

SWISLY is one of my favorite from the album, but I'm not sure if it's radio-friendly. Although I'm sure it will be a single at one point. It doesn't have to be radio-friendly, this is Carrie Underwood we're talking about, which is why she should take advantage of that and release a quality song over a radio-friendly one. And I wouldn't mind seeing her release more than 5 singles, so long as she still puts out an album around Nov 2011, following the same 2 year spacing between albums. I think she's got a pretty good chance of having 5 #1 hits here, since she just missed that w/ Carnival Ride.

I think there will definitely be 5-6 singles.
I believe the next single will be WCIS and then if they release 5 singles and not 6, SWISLY will be the 5th single. If they release 6 -Quitter, TT, or SLT have a good chance of getting released. I think we'll just get 5 though, being WCIS and SWISLY.

Personally, I would hope she releases SWISLY for a 4th single and then Play On for 5th single, then 6th IDC 'cause my favorite uptempo will have been released as single #5, lol
I'd be pretty happy w/ almost anything as long as "Mama's Song" is never released -- thats my least-favorite from the album by a country mile.

Right now I think "Quitter" will be released in the Spring -- possibly as the fifth and final single.
Carrie will likely have a new album ready by Fall 2011...

^^ Quitter seems like the perfect single to end the era with, IMO.

I don't see anything about SWISLY that says it's not radio-friendly. It's a beautiful ballad with excellent lyrics that really portray the strong emotions of heartache. I'm sure there are a ton of people who could relate, me included. But as indulgecountry said, even if it were "not radio-friendly", we're dealing with Carrie Underwood here. She can take less-than-stellar songs (Undo It, tho I still like it) to the top, and she can take amazing songs to the top (Temporary Home, Jesus Take The Wheel, etc). Again, I don't mind WCIS, but I'd prefer SWISLY first, then maybe WCIS and if there is a 6th (do we have any sources that we could get links to, about Carrie interviews) I'd go with Quitter to end the era.

I do think WCIS will be next. I did an unscientific survey on the fan club for next single (meaning it's only as accurate as the people who chose to participate in it) and WCIS seemed to be the consensus choice for next single....with SWISLY a close 2nd...and Quitter a very close 3rd.
On this album so far, Carrie seems to be sticking with the fan club's choices. The consensus of fan club opinion seemed like it really wanted TH and UI to be singles.
Admittedly, it could just be coincidence that the singles Carrie wanted to release for #2 and #3 happened to be the same ones that the fan club wanted. But Carrie seems to very often give the fan club what it wants. If that trend continues, it would seem like WCIS would have to be the slight favorite for the next single.

As long as Mama's Song is never released as a single, it's all good.
Back to Undo It, a second week at #1 is looking more likely than it was a few days ago. ZBB is still gaining on Carrie, but not quite as rapidly. Carrie is still gaining also, so they might not be able to catch her before the week is up.

I could see them going with 'What Can I Say' next, then close the era with 'Someday When I Stop Loving You'.

Umm... I think the fourth and fifth singles will be 'WCIS' and 'SLT' in either order. Those two scream #1 smashes to me the most of the non-singles left on the album. EDIT: I just noticed what could be a nasty hint at the fourth single. Looking at the set list for her Play On tour, I noticed that all of her singles thus far are spaced five songs apart. It starts with 'CC', then five other songs, then 'TH', then five other songs, then 'UI', then five other songs, and then... 'Mama's Song'. Not saying it means anything, obviously... but it's a very weird coincidence.
