Susan Boyle's second album could outsell the first Britain's Got Talent sensation Susan Boyle is set to earn £20million this year as she releases her second album. The Scots singer pocketed £4.5million from her debut CD I Dreamed A Dream. Boyle is set to receive a further £5million in royalties and merchandising from the album. The record topped the charts worldwide and sold over 8.5 million copies, according to reports. Before appearing on the reality show Susan was unemployed and living on benefits but now she could earn a further £10million from her next album which is due to be out for Christmas.
A source told the Sunday Mirror: "Her success has been phenomenal. The second album could be even bigger than the first."Boyle is to celebrate her 49th birthday next week and has started to spend some of her money. The star is to move out of her council home in Blackburn, West Lothian, into a £300,000 house nearby. Susan is about to fly to Japan where she is scheduled to perform to a 10,000-strong crowd on her birthday as a guest with the Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra in Tokyo. entertainment.stv.tv/tv/166411-susan-boyles-second-album-could-outsell-the-first/

I was quite surprised by the major success of her debut album. I expected a huge response, but not that huge. :o Good for her though. I listened to some of her album and I liked a few of the songs. Expectations will be really high with this second album. I'm hoping there will be some more new songs in addition to the covers, unless it's totally original. Wow they have already set a date. All she has to do is record it. There's still plenty of time.

Susan Boyle: I'd love to sing a duet with Lady Gaga Apr 13 2010 By Rick Fulton SUSAN BOYLE has revealed she dreams of dueting with Lady Gaga. And the Scots singing phenomenon would pull on Gaga's trademark telephone hat for her fantasy performance. The Britain's Got Talent runner-up said: "I think Lady Gaga is a wonderful artist and completely original and I like her costumes. Love it! Yes, I'd love to do a duet with her, complete with telephone hat too!" A year on from becoming an internet hit with her BGT audition, SuBo, 49, told how she'd love to perform for the Pope in the next 12 months. She could get her chance when Benedict visits Scotland later this year. She said: "The Pope is a very special person and singing for him within the Mass, it's not just for him, it's for everybody." SuBo also told how she is looking forward to starting work on her second album, which has already been pre-ordered by thousands of fans on Amazon.com. She said: "I love recording. The recording studio is your own space, it's your bubble, it's you and the music and the producer and engineer. "That's when the real craft comes in and that's how people get to hear what you are really like. It is like my sanctuary." www.dailyrecord.co.uk/showbiz/music-news/2010/04/13/susan-boyle-i-d-love-to-sing-a-duet-with-lady-gaga-86908-22182179/

Even if her 15 minutes are almost up, hopefully, she'll be smart with the money she has made and will be able to live comfortably for the rest of her life.
Good luck, SuBo!

perezhilton: SuBo's Cracking Them Out!She wants to ca$$$h for as long as she can! Susan Boyle's upcoming second album is already poised to be 2010's Christmas Number 1 in the UK and she hasn't even recorded it yet! Amazon has already received 2 million requests over the past two weeks for her follow-up album and it's set to become the biggest album pre-order in the website's history! "We haven't seen this before," a source reveals. "It's seven months ahead of the release and already people are putting in requests for pre-sales. It's an incredible achievement already." As for SuBo she says that she's "hoping to make it better and a bit extra special." We're sure she'll pull it off! perezhilton.com/2010-04-28-subos-cracking-them-out

Her album is still selling well. I can see another big seller especially if she does Christmas Songs.

It could easily be the biggest Christmas album ever. I don't think she will sell as much this time around but still multi million sales world wide. She must be the most profitable artist in recent years. Very low recording costs (all covers), very little promotion needed, no videos to shoot...and return in form of what ? 10 million albums sold ?.

Her Xmas album isn't going 10x Platinum. That's what it would have to do in order to top Elvis' 9x Platinum Xmas album.

She is a huge artist. Go Susan this woman deserves all of her success. To say she deserves all of her success is like to say the people who won lottery deserve to be billionaires. Yeah, they won the money fair and square, but it's just luck. it has nothing to do with their work or talents.

Album release is November 15. There goes Rihanna's chance at a #1 album. There's also the new album of Josh Groban coming out this week. Riri has no chance in getting #1 and actually I don't think her label is that interested on that achievement. If so, they would release her album In February. We all know she's more a single seller rather than an album one.
