This sounds like Doja Cat pop music.

Dial Drunk is way superior than this. This one is ok. I agree with the assessment that this will be the biggest hit of 2024, and will not be surprised to see it be top 10 on the Hot 100 year end. It will also have extreme longevity so be prepared to hear this until the end of 2025.

This reminds me of when The Weeknd released “Sacrifice” or “Gasoline”

The best pop song that Mumford & Sons never made.

This sounds like the midpoint between NEIKED- “Better Days” and FIFTY FIFTY - “Cupid”.

Instant hit. This is his most pop friendly song to date.

The chorus woahs remind me of Past Lives - Trevor Daniel/Selena Gomez.

It would be disrespectful to say this is “I Miss You Part 2”, a 2000’s Classic, this is hardly close, it’s low-tempo and not catchy. If anything I would say this is a watered down, slower version of “Pieces” by Sum 41. Not even Pieces. More like a less catchy version of “Missing You” by All Time Low.

The sax at the end is a very similar melody - which song is it?

Verses remind me of a Sleigh Bells song. This, “all-american bitch” and “love is embarrassing” are the clear stand out of the album.

There is an AI cover of this by Taylor Swift and it sounds great, probably because the song itself is also solid.

On track to be worst year of pop music since 2003? or is it 2004? Was tempted to say 2018 but this year is definitely worse than 2018.

I wasn’t a big fan of this when it first came out, and still feel the same about it. The mixing is very messy in my opinion. I do think it is way better than Karma, which might take home the prize of worst TS single ever.

I don’t think this will recreate the level of success that DL or G4U had.

Ironic how the lyrics say “I don’t play safe” while this is anything but.

Odd one to ride the indie one hit wonder sweepstakes, but it is better than Maroon 5's Daylight though.

Where have I heard the intro chords before? Perhaps the chorus of Toto’s Rosanna? I was talking about this earlier with someone who asked the same question and that was the first song I thought of It was actually Daft Punk - Doin’ It Right

The "By the way [...]" in verse 2 reminded me of Brandi Carlile.

I also agree that “All” is the superior song between the two.
