The full version is better but it still needs that extra synth on the chorus. Also, I think the ending should be the bridge and vise versa, it would break it up a bit more.

Ok, "Parking lot" studio version is a bit disappointing, compared to the live version, BUT... the song got stuck in my head from the first time I heard it :)
I might be in the minority, but I really like all the 3 singles that have come out from "TSI" so far.
Not as much as her previous stuff, but I do enjoy them :)

The snippets are incredible.

It's clear that Loose and Mi Plan are the least inspirations for this album. Whoa Nelly and Folklore take the cake, and I'm glad they do, it's two of her best albums for me.

I try to avoid any snippets so that the first listen will be even more mysterious, but I couldn't help myself. The tracks sound amazing. Bucket List, Enemies, and Believers were my favorites from the previews. I also loved End of the World and Don't Leave Me from the deluxe edition. But everything sounded great, I don't think there will be a song that I despise.

The only thing that leaves me wondering is that she released all the songs with the weird vocals as the singles. She sounds much more like herself on every other track. I would like to know what she and her team were thinking on that one.

In this Women Who Rock video, Canadian singer Nelly Furtado dishes about her new album, The Spirit Indestructible, and the R&B influences that have informed her career from the beginning – in particular, TLC.

"They played with themes and they were kind of subversive," Furtado says of the singing and rapping trio. "That influenced me a lot. In my music today, I like to play with a lot of feminine themes, but I always like to come intelligent. I always like to come with the brain as well, because I think that's what being a woman's all about."

Furtado also rattles off her list of other notable female influences, including Mary J. Blige, MC Lyte and Queen Latifah. "These are not women to be F'ed with," the singer says with a laugh.

Furtado's fifth album, The Spirit Indestructible, is set for release on September 18th.

Waiting For The Night sounds like the smash that needs to be released, so why are they effing around? Although, I have loved every song released thus far and I forgot about my jam "Something". "End of the World" sounds promising but I can't tell if there is gonna be a beat or not. She clearly doesn't care about being a pop artist anymore, based on this album, as most of it isn't really radio-friendly but, as always, I applaud her for her artistry. I will definitely buy this. Oh...and that Tiesto remix......
