I heard it once but I think the station got alot of negative comments about it... so they stopped playing it :(.

I've heard it all week! Me too. It is weird though, it's like some stations play the remix only while others stick with the original. |

I love the song but the Britney "remix" offers absolutely nothing to the song. I'd much prefer the original on the radio, same with Katy's "ET", the Kanye mix offers nothing to the song.
It's kinda sad that radio isn't really touching this remix because like most people know already, it was just a shameless attempt by the label to land a #1 when the song was perfectly good on its own.

The remix is good. I was already tired of the original so at least this way it got me interested again. That said, S&M is one of my least liked Rihanna singles ever... I don't know, I never really got into it the same way I did with her previous singles. I even played 'Rockstar 101' more!.

While I agree the original is superior, the remix being a bit of a novelty item, and that there were clearly motivations for a potential #1 in the original idea for the remix....collaborating with Britney was also something that the FANS requested. Regardless of whether or not the song hits #1, lots of fans of both artists got their wish & were quite excited about it. |

I disagree. I love Britney on S&M! I think they sound good and at best together. There are adding whirls in the beats and the song seems to build a bit more than the original. A tad more power I would say. With that being said, I like the original but have been overplaying it since the album got released. I'm guessing they won't do a video for this together? |
