hmm so why would you send a song to urban after it's peaked everywhere else?

Will Britney get any credit for the RADIO SPINS for the remix? Yes. Now listed as featured artist on "S&M," Spears earns her fifth Hot 100 No. 1 and second this year, following her own "Hold It Against Me" in January. She had previously reigned with her debut single "...Baby One More Time" in 1999 and returned to the summit with "Womanizer" (2008) and "3" (2009). www.billboard.com/#/news/rihanna...4922.story

I'm really happy for Rihanna on her 10 #1s and for Britney with her 5th. I'm so happy they gave Britney credit for the song.
EDIT: Can we please change the title of this thread to Rihanna ft Britney Spears - S&M - #1 on HOT 100?

Is this the first song about a fetish to go #1 on BB?

Not Brit. At least, not yet. um yes. "3", "Hold It Against Me" and "S&M" I think people are forgetting about TTWE. If that goes #1, Brit will have 4 in a row. Otherwise she'll only have two with 3 and HIAM. And also, Rihanna's only ever had 2 in a row. Disturbia and LYL where in a row as was WMN and OG.

That's like if All of The Lights hit number 1 (if Rihanna was credited that is) before S&M, you wouldn't say she didn't have 3 number 1s in a row.

because TTWE isn't done charting... That's fine but the song has charted and was officially released. So it remains 2 in a row. ;) For now, at least

Rihanna should return the favor and jump on the TTWE remix and then re-release Loud with a Cheers remix. That's 2 guaranteed #1's right there.
If CKB gets #1 there is going to be more pressure than ever by IDJ to match MJ's album record just like Katy's team is going for.

"3" was released - went #1 "Hold It Against Me" was released - went #1 "S&M (Remix)" was released - went #1 1...2...3 1 + 1 + 1 = 3 comprende? S&M was released before TTWE and if Billboard combined the original and the remix, why should we separate them now to discredit Britney? Stupid technicalities. TTWE is still charting and hasn't peaked. A song doesn't have to peak the week of release. IF that goes #1, Britney will then have FOUR #1's in a row. 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 = 4

TTWE was released in the middle. So Brit will either get 4 #1 in a row or she'll stick with the two she has. That all depends on TTWE.

Also, after LTWYL, Rockstar 101 charted which peaked at #64. And after OG, WTC charted and peaked at #51. That mean Rihanna has had 2 consecutive #1 singles, and she's done that twice.

Exactly. Billboard already discussed this a few weeks ago when S&M went #1 on Airplay. She has 5 Airplay #1's in a row (Rude Boy, LTWYL, OG, WMN, and S&M) because those other songs/singles either didn't chart on Radio Songs or she wasn't officially credited.
Brit is the lead & sole artist on TTWE, which was officially released, and it has already charted on the Hot 100. Billboard doesn't just "skip" it.
