I was at Best Buy at Union Square in NYC today. WBR has shipped out the Remastered LAV and TB along with Bedtime Stories. All are $4.99. I was in there today and all they had was Madonna (remastered) and Like a Prayer. :( |

I'd be surprised if the NFL lets Minaj perform a track (as short as it may be) with the word "Hoe," unless it gets bleeped. And where would the choir fit in? "Like a Prayer" would be the only sensible track to include a choir. Glenn Close is an astute woman. foxxd- note that it says "Album Only" for "Masterpiece" on Amazon- as expected. For the others, though, it just says "Not available." |

This is the first time that I've been in this post and I was just curious if her SB setlist had leaked. I have to say that I'm very disappointed that she is performing with a bunch of "of the moment" pop stars. Big bucks must have been coughed up to get Nicki and LMFAO thrown into the mix. Nicki may have talent but she hardly has the status of someone that should be at the SB halftime. It actually kind of makes me mad. There are tons of American (great artists) that would love to be on this platform. I thought it was just for the greats now after the Janet mistake. And LMFAO - is there a worse group out there? Terribly, terribly disappointed.

This has unfortunately become Madonna & Friends, no longer Madonna at the halftime show. And LMFAO is a horrible choice. Adding Cee-Lo was enough.  I just read this. I couldn't agree more. Cee-Lo is okay. I like a few of his tunes but I can see the pairing of him and Madonna being terrible. I don't like the teams this year and I don't like the SB guests. I like Madonna but I'm hardly a huge fan. I'll skip the show this year. |

I forgot that the BEP performed last year. I skipped that one, too. So discard my statement about past superstars. It's a shame. I've read some more and see now about Cee Lo and The Voice/NBC. Oh well.....

Past halftime shows have included guests as well, so this is hardly a new precedent. When Madonna performs, she's usually with a bunch of dancers, whatnot, anyhow. It's not like we were going to get a Madonna Unplugged show. :)

Exactly. This isn't a Madonna concert/tour. Now if she was going on tour with ceelo lmfao minaj and mia, that wb another story. It is a half time show. Having guests is nothing new. Seems odd folks will come here and complain about it post after post but then say they will not take 12:40 out of there lives to watch. Lol I can't wait!  |

People are really grasping at strings to pit Madonna against people. By the way I was reading some people's comments about her, I thought MDNA just randomly said popping titties at the Superbowl wasn't cutting edge when it really was the interviewer who directed the question in a way which was seemed almost hellbent on tricking her into saying either her performance would be A) boring or B) if she would pop a titty.
