I'm sure the label is up on the shipment demands for Minaj's album.
Looks like another SoundScan-era low for a No. 1 album may be evaded- but it's bound to happen again soon, looking at the release schedule.

I can't belieeeeve how slowly Taylor is creeping up on Eminem. After his post-Grammys boost, surpassing his sales is gonna look like an impossible task for her.

^^
I'm not shocked by that, I'm sure LispingHibiscus isnt either.
Next Year's Grammys will help Taylor a little. But it's not going to pass Recovery anytime soon. If Ever.
But i think we can all at least agree on the "Anytime Soon" statement.

I can't belieeeeve how slowly Taylor is creeping up on Eminem. After his post-Grammys boost, surpassing his sales is gonna look like an impossible task for her. Let's not forget Recovery was released in June and Speak Now in october. Recovery has sold 3,510,502 in 8 months, Speak Now has sold 3,109,295 in 4 months. Imo it will catch Recovery. Besides, there was no big hit from Speak Now so far, it has sold only based on Taylor Swift's name, there was nothing like Love Story or YBWM. If there's a single as successful as one of those the album will explode.

Um wouldn't you consider Mine and Back To December somewhat big hits?

At this HITS's rate, it would take Taylor 132 weeks to catch Eminem.

Um wouldn't you consider Mine and Back To December somewhat big hits? Mine: No. To me it was a moderate hit, but that's just me. These days a first single that sells 1,6 million (considering we're talking about Taylor Swift) is not a big hit. Back to december: We'll see. It's certainly my favorite Taylor single to date, but sadly I don't see it doing AMAZING, It's struggling to get into the top 10 on pop, and it sitting at #6 on country. And it has strong contenders coming from behind, #1 is not a lock. Of course it's not done yet and I think it'll have good longevity, which will be a good thing for album sales. And about single sales, it's not a big digital seller. Let me do this comparison: "Don't you wanna stay" by Jason Aldean has an audience of 40.408 million and it's being played in 1 format (country), BTD: 84.668 million, and it's being played in 4 formats (country, pop, ac and hot ac). DYWS is #42 on iTunes and BTD is #47 (with 9 Glee songs ahead of them of course). So, I don't think it'll ever be a big digital seller and it'll struggle to sell 2 million copies. Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think it has crossed the 1 million mark yet.

News to me! I always thought she was out since "Your Love"! I'm just going from what her Wikipedia article says. I could be very wrong. She's most likely bisexual the same way GaGa & Billie Joe Armstrong are... they are attracted to the same gender, but for relationships, she's mostly straight.
