Nicki on bisexuality, with CONTACT magazine:
There's been a lot of speculation about your sexuality in the press. Your verse on Usher's "Lil' Freak" adds to the buzz that you're bisexual. Nicki Minaj: When I rap, it's just an extension of how I speak, and that's how I talk. If you don't like it, don't listen. I'm also not going to explain something just because I said it in a rap. Take what you want from it. [In the press] I didn't say . I said I don't have sex with women. I don't have sex with men right now either. If [bisexual is] what they wanna call me, then fine.
Her album is holding up pretty well. Will her album be able to snatch the SoundScan wig from Red's album?

Nicki might very well end up with 2m + albums scanned when all is said and done.

Nicki might very well end up with 2m + albums scanned when all is said and done. Her record company has a plan. The most successful solo female rap album of all time was from Missy Elliott 2.1 M I am sure, whether it is to release four more singles and/or a re-release they are gunning for the number to make her debut also the most successful rap solo album from a female artist.

Mine: No. To me it was a moderate hit, but that's just me. These days a first single that sells 1,6 million (considering we're talking about Taylor Swift) is not a big hit. Back to december: We'll see. It's certainly my favorite Taylor single to date, but sadly I don't see it doing AMAZING, It's struggling to get into the top 10 on pop, and it sitting at #6 on country. And it has strong contenders coming from behind, #1 is not a lock. Of course it's not done yet and I think it'll have good longevity, which will be a good thing for album sales. And about single sales, it's not a big digital seller. Let me do this comparison: "Don't you wanna stay" by Jason Aldean has an audience of 40.408 million and it's being played in 1 format (country), BTD: 84.668 million, and it's being played in 4 formats (country, pop, ac and hot ac). DYWS is #42 on iTunes and BTD is #47 (with 9 Glee songs ahead of them of course). So, I don't think it'll ever be a big digital seller and it'll struggle to sell 2 million copies. Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think it has crossed the 1 million mark yet. dont bring in single sales for BTD cuz 3 million people own that album while DYWS is less than a million 6,2 million people that own Fearless didn't stop Love Story to get almost to 5 million copies sold.
