^400-800+? I generally get burned out on any song around 70 or 80 (plus many radio spins). I do too. I try not to play even my favorite songs more than 2 times a day (but I listen to them for months). So even though I'm not playing TEOG more than twice a day, I'll still be regularly listening to it 6 months from now. I'm still listening to Bad Romance 3 or 4 times a week, lol.

^ YAS #1 !!! Do you think they would ever re-release Judas? No, never. It would be utterly pointless. No way it would do anything and it'd just make the label look worse and desperate.

Hell yeah! Went #1 somewhere! ^ YAS #1 !!! Do you think they would ever re-release Judas? I was actually thinking that. I think it would be funny if they released it again as the 3rd single (since it was barely played anyways and lasted 2 weeks) with a major push and maybe watch it smash everywhere. But in reality, probably no lol

Now they can officially call it a "#1 hit". Lol. Oh and no re-release please.

Woot #1! ;) I also really want it to sell a million units eventually. I am not sure where it is at now or how much it sells weekly though. I am assuming it is possible especially if you think that it will sell at least a little bit every week.

I love the signature! My vote for signature of the year!
I think re-releasing this would be a bad idea. If it had gone unnoticed and just flopped then maybe but it got relatively well known, peaked high and then tumbled.

It would be any Gaga fan's dream world if this was re-released, peaked in like the top 5 on CHR and the Hot 100 and became a huge hit this fall

If it had gone unnoticed and just flopped then maybe but it got relatively well known, peaked high and then tumbled. Cee Lo's FU peaked @ #16 the first time and made it to #1 in its second run. I really don't think that this could do any better than in its first run though should it ever be considered for a rerelease.

Cee-Lo's situation was entirely different. He didn't have a second single rushed out after FU started to tumble down (and it did tumble). It only regained its composure after some high-profile appearances.
I think it's much harder for an established act to re-release a single and have it do well the second time in a situation like Judas because every song released by said act will get noticed whether it does well or not. Imagine if Katy Perry re-released Thinking Of You after Waking Up In Vegas hit #1. Or if Beyonce re-released Run The World.
Certainly I'm not saying such an incident would never happen. Look at To The Moon And Back. #21 the first time out and I think #16 the second time?
Judas' run may have been quick enough that it could almost be forgotten about by the new year but I don't think the song itself will be forgotten if they were to re-release it again.

'Who Knew' is another example of a re-release smashing. Idk though, the thing is GaGa has all the hype in the world, you can say a lot of people knew Judas. And it still underperformed. All that buzz and radio almost ignored it the first time around so I doubt they'd even notice it the second, unfortunately. I am glad this hit #1 on the dance chart though.

"Run The World" and "Thinking Of You" were never meant to smash.
"Who Knew", "Forget You", and "Judas" had a lot of hype and support around it.

Your sig is obnoxious btw lol the first time I saw it was at night in the summer on my computer and I smacked my screen cause I thought it was real 17? I'm starting to lose track :kii: I love the signature! My vote for signature of the year! Me? OMG thank you :'( think it's much harder for an established act to re-release a single and have it do well the second time in a situation like Judas because every song released by said act will get noticed whether it does well or not. Imagine if Katy Perry re-released Thinking Of You after Waking Up In Vegas hit #1. Or if Beyonce re-released Run The World. I agree. Even though it only made #10 Hot 100 and #15 CHR, it had a lot of hype behind it and with the massive video views, I'd say most people heard the song enough that they'd remember it if it was to be re-released. Like you said, re-releasing just doesn't (usually) work for established acts. A time that it would potentially work, for example, would be if iSquare had a smash single and then re-released 'Hey Sexy Lady' - completely unknown now and the song only made like #50 (CHR). I don't see why the label should/would bother re-releasing 'Judas' anyway. It's possible that it could do better than #10/#15, but the bad reception it got is not gonna change, so it's not gonna get #1 in any foreseeable circumstances. So why should they waste money trying to promote a dead song that could only at best be a lower top 10 hit, probably, when they could bring out something new and fresh with a hot video and maybe snag another chart-topper? I would only understand why they might re-release 'Judas' if the yet to be released songs from the album were completely terrible and offensive and stuff like that, which they clearly are not.

Plus, re-releasing it indicates that the album has nothing else to offer.

Who Knew completely flopped the first time, didn't even make top 40. It flopped so hard the first time that re-releasing it was almost just like releasing it for the first time because no one really knew about it the first time. Judas did not completely flop the first time in the way Who Knew it did. It made the top 20 on radio and had decent buzz surrounding it, so it wouldn't work out like Who Knew.
FU was more of a second wind than a re-release. It charted, peaked, then got a lot of pimping on TV shows and had a second wind because I guess radio realized the public wouldn't be offended by it or something. Again, different from GaGa's label choosing to re-release Judas.
A re-release of Judas would just be a waste of time. It had a lot of hype surrounding it, it just didn't work out. GaGa hasn't experienced a surge in popularity due to The Edge of Glory, she's always been popular - Judas just didn't click, and it's time to move on from that.

Plus, re-releasing it indicates that the album has nothing else to offer. Well in that case, I favour a re-release. Better to have Judas flop again than have some mess like Scheibe do moderately well. ;)

This song is too infamous now to re-release. FU and Who Knew were still relatively new to the public and unknown, and got away with it. This re-released would have haters screaming "epic fail" from the rooftops, and honestly, it would be a fail.
Great song, bombed once, no need to let it burn a second time.

Haven't checked the updates in a while; WEDNESDAY 6/15 UPDATE[RECURRENT] LADY GAGA Judas 199 232 -33 1.326 β 2 Spins β 10 Bullet + 0.013 Audience Pretty good. :) To give an indication of exactly where this stands, it's #149 in the chart with recurrent and gold songs. Just above it are 'Good Girls Go Bad,' 'Already Gone' and 'Meet Me Halfway' and just below are 'Mr. Saxobeat,' 'Need You Now' and 'Love Like Woe.' In comparison to other Gaga, 'The Edge of Glory' (8,619 spins), 'Born this Way' (1,947), 'Bad Romance' (569), 'Poker Face' (456), 'Just Dance' (429), 'Telephone' (378), 'Paparazzi' (372) and 'Alejandro' (316) are all above it. I'll try to do an update of the standings of to-date airplay for all her singles thing that I've done before soon.

So, I put together the last couple of weeks, and here are the to-date spin totals for Gaga's singles. (This information runs up to last Sunday, 6/12's published chart.) (279,181) Just Dance f/Colby O'Donis (277,069) Bad Romance (266,488) Poker Face (217,751) Telephone f/Beyonce (194,262) Paparazzi (164,623) Lovegame (158,174) Alejandro (128,775) Born This Way (*24,039) The Edge Of Glory (*21,373) Judas Aaaaaannnndd, I uploaded the Excel spreadsheet I'm using which has the full chart runs for all of Gaga's charting hits (including the non-singles) with all the spin stats and all that shizzle. Feel free to use, you don't really have to credit me. PM me/reply here if the link dies or if something's wrong with the file. castle.so/dl/130vh+s :)

At this rate, "Bad Romance" is about four or five months away from passing "Just Dance's" spin count.
It'll be interesting to see how high "Born this Way" can climb on her list.
