So far, hot AC has an adds date of 7/25, but there isn't one for pop yet.

^Thanks. With AC still big on RITD, I imagine that format will wait a little bit (unless 7/25 also is the date for that one).

I'm not sure. AllAccess only has a slot for hot AC and FMQB combines them together. (Or maybe it's the other hand around. ) AC is incredibly slow, so they'll probably start playing it around Halloween. (The sad thing is that really isn't a big exaggeration.) I assume pop will get it in August.

So, SLY has been confirmed as the next single? I thought I heard it might be Set Fire to the Rain. Great that it's already having an impact on airplay.

Go Dev!! I'm surprised she has over 8mil in audience. ITD must be shaping up nicely on Rhythmic.

Sometimes I question the validity of the additional updates. Just doesn't seem like those songs would be getting updates like that. Has anyone see if they are really gaining so much?

You mean the ones Minor Scratch posted? Well, most of those are increasing so fast because they are already crossing over on multiple formats.

You mean the ones Minor Scratch posted? Well, most of those are increasing so fast because they are already crossing over on multiple formats. Its because we never see some of the lesser known songs and their updates. The popular diva tracks are always talked about and monitored constantly on here and the others just slowly creep up to Top 40 airplay with little or no discussion in these threads.

When we post the updates, we post what's usually posted elsewhere online (since Mediabase no longer offers the info for free). Diego then posts info for other tracks that are not included in that update. RE "Set Fire to the Rain"- there was a digital remixes EP released, but no word of a radio release. Looks like another #1 by Katy Perry is a forgone conclusion at this point...even if it is only a one week reign.

Katy could easily miss #1. LMFAO shows no signs of relinquishing the top spot anytime soon.
Funny how Gaga is gaining again. Is it AC/Hot AC that is keeping her afloat? After everyone said she was gonna flop it's surprising how this song is turning into one of her most enduring hits. BTW didn't have much higher aud impressions when it peaked, did it?

"Everyone" said "Edge of Glory" was going to flop? News to me. :) EOG probably is my favorite single from her, along with "Paparazzi" and "Bad Romance."
In the 7-day rolling chart for Mediabase's published panel, EOG currently has a +86 spins gain at AC and +300 at Hot AC. At pop, it's at a -78 in spins, and at rhythmic, it's at -125 (ranked in the low 30s; though it may be ranked higher on Billboard's rhythmic chart).

Who's to say that LFN digital sales won't drop once or if it passes LMFAO in airplay? And it's not like LFN is going to have airplay similar to RITD....so you have to figure those huge updates are going to hit a peak sooner or later. If LFN is going to #1, it'll have to maintain it's digital sales stabilization and hope LMFAO decreases below it.

When Judas performed underwhelmingly there seemed to be a common sentiment that Gaga's popularity was starting to fizzle. Even the 1m+ sales week for the album didn't really seem to change people's minds. I think EOG has proven that Judas was an exception.

Yeah, LMFAO could easily keep Katy's wig perched, they aren't showing any signs of slowing down airplay-wise and they're still above her digitally. Katy could max out before she even reaches them.

Katy is averaging over the past couple of days a 1.5M+ increase in AI over LMFAO per day, which is impressive but would need to hold for another ten days in order to just tie in airplay (according to Mediabase, that is). Plus, she would need to narrow the digital gap or gain even further on radio to get that number one. That doesn't mean she won't get there, but a far from a forgone conclusion. ---- badrobot So true! Gaga's "Judas" and even Beyonce's "Run The World" gave some people the certitude to write off their new albums as failures, only to be proven wrong for the most part. Rushing to judgement too quickly is usually a mistake.

"Judas" just didn't click with the audience, unlike most of her other singles- so, in that sense, it was an exception. And even though the album is not holding up as well as some would like, radio obviously will give her great play with the right track.

LFN has impressed me with its longevity already...as it's 5th single from the album without a new version. I honestly thought it'd be on its way down week after the video premiere.

EOG becomes GaGa's 4th biggest radio hit, behind BTW. Laughing to those that are saying she's flopping on radio this era.
