Random side note: I just despise the band name Slipknot. It just reminds me of gooey, green snot being wiped all over someone's face. Gross. Fits their music well, I guess. Rofl'd October 18th edit: AATB is starting to gain on SIO again now... |

How is Taylor Swift's new song already #5 on iTunes before it's even available to purchase it was released early. Around 10PM EST "Welcome TO New York" appeared out of nowhere at #10 but still said "album only" and the purchase button was grayed out. Then it shot up to #5 an hour later and was all of a sudden available to purchase. Hmmm.... |

Taylor even tweeted that it is already available on Itunes way early. |

"Welcome to New York" is #1. "Shake It Off" is down to 0.2318 so far.
"Bang Bang" down to #9, about to be passed by Gwen, and then other instant grat songs will probably knock it out of the top 10 for the first time in forever. :'(

The $5.99 is a mix of indie pop and rap (with one of each that had a major breakthrough in 2014 and the other being more of the underdog, at least this year). Also, a much more unknown R&B singer named Kem gets featured (I mean, the album hit #3, but he hasn't had a mainstream hit at all and only minor R&B genre hits):

There are 58 songs for 69 cents each and 34 movies available for 99 cent HD rentals, so now's the time to check that scene if you're curious. Wasn't Lil Wayne supposed to release Tha Carter V today? I think it got pushed back. There have been zero updates for it yet. Not even a track list and no acknowledgement from Lil Wayne himself. My guess is that it got pushed to Black Friday (11/24), where Nicki was previously before being pushed back to December. |
