I really like Hollie, she'll loosen up! :) I saw Carrie on the Idol tour and she wasn't very animated either, lol.. some people just take a little time.. Hollie has the voice, :)

I've noticed that on the iTunes USA digital songs chart, 'Blown Away' (the song) has moved from the low 200s to 150s in the past 5 days, just with limited country airplay. There are so many reasons to believe that when this song really hits, it will be MASSIVE sales-wise. Not only, has it peaked higher than 20 (I forgot the exact number) during album release week, but also it's big climb on the sales chart after her performances on Idol and the Billboard Awards are impressive and forebode good things.

The track peaked at #11 on the iTunes all-genre chart, I believe. :) I don't think it cracked Top 10, but I could be mistaken.
But yeah, I can see this song going Platinum quickly, and I could see it surpassing JTTW if all goes well in terms of sales (I believe JTTW is at 2.03 million, or something like that).

Carrie's recent trip to Australia has helped sales of both Play On and Blown Away.
On the top 50 Album Chart, Blown Away jumped from #30 last week to #18 this week. Two weeks ago, it was #49 I believe. It's #2 on the Country Album chart.
Play On jumped from #14 to #8 on the Country Album Chart. It's been on the chart for 54 weeks.

Carrie broke the CMT Top 20 Video Countdown record [again] with Good Girl spending 14 weeks in total at the top of the chart. The last time she set that record was with 12 weeks in 2010 with Undo It, but Taylor Swift later broke it with 13 weeks at #1 with Mine.

If the song does what it's capable of, I wouldn't be shocked to see it outsell BHC and put up a fight for the biggest selling Idol single. Tall order, but this is the song to do it for her.

Blown Away looks incredible from what we've seen so far. Good Girl might be my least favorite Carrie video to date ETA - Blown Away (the single) has climbed even higher, it's currently #126 on iTunes. This is great, considering the airplay it has currently.

We should see the 'real' gain for BA this week.

Hey guys,
I am new to the board, but I am a HUGE Carrie fan (she is my #1 singer by far) and cannot wait to track and dwell in the rest of her success with y'all :) :)
ETA: Here are her sales for this week:
20 32 CARRIE UNDERWOOD 19/ARISTA NASHVILLE 14,598 -4% BLOWN AWAY
Don't be alarmed though, thanks to Amazon's $1 sales for like 13 albums, plus 4 debuts, her ranking isn't that bad. She only fell 14%; without the Amazon sale should would have probably been #16 or #17

This should help sales somewhat, whatever it's for. Hopefully "Blown Away", the single promotion.

I know its still a little early, but I'm starting to believe DYTAM would be the best choice for the third single.

I love DYTAM. I also love Wine After Whiskey and Good In Goodbye. I don't think I've ever seen so many different favorites between fans before. It's kinda fun to watch.

I know its still a little early, but I'm starting to believe DYTAM would be the best choice for the third single. I've been starting to really think of DYTAM as a single. I think it could be a nice hit for her, and something a little different. I don't think it necessarily has "#1" written all over it, but I wouldn't mind it getting a release.

"Do You Think About Me" would be a great choice. It's sweet, and it would be a nice lighthearted switch after the darker "Blown Away."

I'm all over "Do You Think About Me" being #3. I've seen that most rather have "Wine After Whiskey" over "Good In Goodbye" as a future single, but although I like both, I much prefer "Good In Goodbye". I'd rather have "Forever Changed" be a single than "Wine After Whiskey".

DYTAM is my favorite song after BA so I'd love to see it as the next single :) although I do think "Good in Goodbye" will be next, but hopefully DYTAM will be 4th if its not next!

There are plenty of directions Carrie could go next in terms of singles. The album is chock full of potential singles, and I really have no clue which direction they'll take next.
I sure hope they do at least 5 singles this time. There's 7 more songs on the album that I want to be singles, so even with 5 singles at least 4 of them won't make it. They certainly have a lot of great material to choose from.

I think DYTAM will be a single down the line. It'll suck, because as much as I want to see SYA, GIG, and WAW get released, I'm willing to bet that one of, if not, 2 of those won't get released. I'd bet on WAW getting a release, but I'd die and float to heaven if SYA got some love. I can't see it happening, though, since she hasn't ever performed it live yet.
I see DYTAM, OWT, and TBC as the next few singles, but who knows if the label takes more than 5 singles with this album.

*gasp* I love DYTAM! I'd be so happy to see it as the next single as well as OWT and maybe WAW.

I kind of knew which songs would be singles during the Carnival Ride and Play On eras, but I have to say, BA is so different that the single preferences are all over the place. I guess you have a good problem when you can't make up your mind which songs to release as singles. Yea, she could release 7 different songs and she'd still be adding to her number one collection.

I think TBC and WAW should definitely be singles but after that I get a bit blurry on a fifth single.
