I have a feeling it'll be her Tropico; Do What U Want (re-shoot), Venus (the one she shot months ago) and first single from Part 2 or whatever the 3rd single will be (preferably G.U.Y. since I don't think Gypsy fits with the location of the video shoot).

Thrilled that the new video will feature the real housewives, even if its not the Atlanta ones. Shocked and disappointed that karent is her favorite, though.

Directed by Gaga, so I'm guessing Venus. I'm glad she's exercising muscle by Producing and Directing and all that, but combined with the tumult of DWUW and behind the scenes issues, it's starting to feel like she's becoming a bit too controlling. She has/had the Haus for a reason.
IMO, her best videos and songs are when she aligns with a producer/choreographer/director that sync up with her general vision, but bring a background and experience that can execute the vision flawlessly.
I'm nervous.

Wasn't Gaga behind Judas tho? Or am I confused? Judas was the best video of btw era... I feel she wants to take control due to whatever happened with DWUW where she felt under too much pressure. It's already such a messy era that I'm iffy with anything now  as long as there's no free controversy and there's good promo strategy behind it, I'm fine. I think there are several potential moderate hits in the album, but what's more important is to have Gaga regain fun and support from public. |

Co-directed by Gaga and Laurieann Gibson according to Wikipedia, which gives me a little more faith. If it Venus, then it's time to go full-on weird/fun. Not dark-weird like we got during the BTW era, but bright, quirky fun weird, like an intergalactic Roman version of the Telephone video. |

It sounds like she is shooting a music video of some sorts and in addition to that also doing the PSA and paying to be able to shoot the video at that location.

They don't giving her immediate hit singles but they're expanding her presence in the public and what people know from her. Those things might be doing more for her image than anything from this album could. |

The only other video that was solely directed by gaga was MTN. I don't think we have to worry about quality, because she can obviously make great videos. The problem is it not being mainstream enough.

Yeah Judas and MTN were both well-made and mostly well-received-I believe Judas is still one of her most viewed videos and people seemed to like it even when they didn't like the song. Then MTN was actually exceptionally well-made except for being way, way too long for a music video so most people weren't going to sit through it. So, whatever this is will probably be good, but if she doesn't keep it in check (MTN) or attach a good song to it (Judas) it won't matter.

Well, "Do What U Want" is a current single- it's just peaked and is descending. She has no *new* single out- but that will change soon, I'm sure. :)

WOW!!! I wonder just what this thing is gonna be. I read that production is not going to be finished til October. Is that true? If so, this is going to be enormous! At the same time I'd like something soon in the meantime, perhaps not this video? or whatever,but maybe something totally separate, and hopefully we find out her next single or whatever soon since it looks like DWUW has run it's course.
