Yeah, if there's one thing that can be said about her it's that she's ambitious.

I'm not sure to what degree the things she's mentioned have been tried with Bjork and others in the past but I'm curious to see how much further she takes it. I wonder if it's easier for smaller scale artists to try different ideas like this rather than someone as big as GaGa. When you think about it, you almost never hear of megastars going vastly different routes with new albums, do you?

Rising Harlem MC Azealia Banks has teamed up with Lady Gaga for a new collaboration after the two were tweeting in August about a potential meetup in the studio. However, Banks has now confirmed that the two have done a song together, but there's no guarantee that it will make Gaga's forthcoming ARTPOP album.

"Yeah, I worked on a song for her," said Banks to Capital FM. "I don't know if it will make her record. I hope it will make her record, but we'll wait and see."

This isn't the first time the "212" rap-tress has crossed over to the pop arena. She did a verse for Lana Del Rey's "Blue Jeans (Remix)" and Scissor Sisters' "Shady Love." Gaga has also done a few collaborations with hip hop artists, including a recent duet with Kendrick Lamar on "PARTYNAUSEOUS."

While the fate of the collaboration is unknown, Banks is still working in the studio on her own album. After a tumultuous year of feuds and beefs, it seems like the star is ready to put the focus back on her art.

HEYLO! Good morning angels! been reading your comments/questions about ARTPOP APP and wanted to answer your questions!
1. ARTPOP APP will be available to work on computers (for example your laptops,) in addition to iPads, tablets, smartphone, Android, (compatible with as many formats that this technology can function on at this time) if you have a laptop this will fully suffice you to utilize it, so do not fret! I already anticipated you would say that :) Nobody will be missing out on anything special! Nothing is different except I've giving you more stuff to play with and have fun. 2. It will not be more expensive than album. I find digital music to be overpriced (as it is not the same value as a physical copy) and this is a way to give you more. 2. Bjork (who had always been on the cutting edge) was the first artist to release her music in this way, to my knowledge. There are also other international underground musicians and business that use the APP as well to sell various products. The use of an APP as a way to sell albums, in my opinion is the future of music. I am in no way taking credit for the invention of the APP, or claiming to be the first artist to distribute music this way. An APP is "CANVAS" a medium. Like an MP3 is a medium for digital music, except I can attach a variety of sub-mediums within the APP to create a visual/interactive world for you. This world is built organically by the HAUS OF GAGA, and will be a completely unique and different experience from other music-sale based APPs because its inspired by us and the new sound of my music. However I am hoping that *god willing* the success of ARTPOPs music will propel the use of artist driven APPs further into the music industry stratosphere. Im excited to be apart of it. Ultimately the APP is unimportant if the music isn't great though right? 3. My vision for ARTPOP in general is also NOT EXCLUSIVE to the APP. That is just one element. THE ARTPOP PROJECT extends beyond the APP and there will be more surprises in the future NOT related to the APP, perhaps I did not make that clear. SORRY!! 4. Photographer Steven Klein Likens Lady Gaga Movie to Hypodermic Needle

Lady Gaga's five-minute short film for her black-liquid fragrance Fame, which she'll debut Sept. 13 during a masquerade ball at New York's Guggenheim Museum, has the pedigree of a Hollywood movie: Ridley Scott producing, David Fincher's regular DP Jeff Cronenweth on camera, effects by Digital Domain, and, according to a source, a seven-figure-plus budget.

Talking exclusively with The Hollywood Reporter, the film's director, acclaimed photographer Steven Klein (who shot Gaga's "Alejandro" video), says the arresting image of a giant Gaga being scaled, Lilliputian-style, by a pack of muscled men required the construction of a 300-foot-long, nearly 50-foot-tall sculpture of the singer's body on a Paramount soundstage. "In one of our meetings, Gaga said, 'Wouldn't it be amazing if we had like 50 Steven Klein models crawling all over me.' It was like the idea of everybody wanting a piece of you. That's how that became a reality," says Klein, adding that the shoot turned out to be quite complicated. "It was one of the biggest crane shots the crew had ever done, and we did a motion-control track of her body that was filmed simultaneously."

But one thing didn't make it into what Klein calls the "safe version" of the film, which is awash in black latex and surrealistic imagery. In a more violent director's cut (there are no clear plans on when it will be released), "She actually kills all the boys, like a massacre," says the photographer. The overall theme, he says, is about "the subject of fame, the dark and light side of it, the pleasures and the pains of fame. Fame can hold you as a prisoner in certain ways."

Klein -- who just signed with Ridley Scott's RSA Films (which is managed by producer Jules Daly) as a commercials director and is looking to direct his first feature film -- says the goal was not to make a typical fragrance ad: "She said to me, 'I want to put a hypodermic needle in the fragrance business and blow it up.' " The Coty fragrance sells for between $42 to $79.

The photographer is also known for his video collaborations with Madonna, for a 2005 W magazine photo shoot of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie which portrayed them as a happily married 1960s-era suburban couple (which appeared before they publicily acknowledged their relationship), has shots scores of magazine covers (Vogue, Interview, Italian Vogue and more) and has exhibited his works as the National Portrait Gallery in London and at New York's Armory Show.

While Klein wouldn't comment on the budget of the film, he said: "You know, the film was expensive, but I guess the film has a price, fame has a price, the fragrance has a price. Everything has a price."

As for the party where the film will debut, it's been reported that Lady Gaga will perform at the masquerade party, where women are expected to come wearing masks and men are strongly suggested to follow suit.
