My predictions will come later in the day. I already can say that Wide Awake is still rising very fast and that Payphone now really has to gain to get #1. This is 100% Payphone's last week to reach #1. Next week 'Wide Awake' probably will be #1.

8th day effect for No Doubt.
But, as you can see it was much more severe for Green Day than ND.
I don't think the No Doubt song is going to really take off... I wonder if they have a strong second single planned.

This will be a pretty interesting weekend after a long time. CMB, Payphone and WA are battling for #1-3 and STIUTK. Lights and Whistle are battling for #4-6.

I think Lights should pass Gotye. Sales are better, radio will be about even, and it's pretty close on streaming as of last week. Maybe pass him this week? Flo I don't think he will pass, sales and radio will probably about even out, with him having a slight lead. Gotye will most likely have a big lead from streaming, though.
So probably 1-6:
CMM WA PP Lights STIUTK Whistle

1. CMM 2. PP 3. WA 4. SIUTK 5. Whistle
I think Payphone will hold on to #2 for one more week. We have to remember that Katy's sales were barely more than Carly's last week when she was #1 on Digital Songs. This week she isn't #1, and Carly has been on her tail all week.
Next week will be interesting indeed. Depends on how much Katy grows in streaming. Her airplay is exploding now, but realistically, she only has a little more to grow since Rhythmic isn't really supporting. I see it peaking around 160 million in AI.
She may be able to pass Carly in airplay, but I think it'll be alot closer than we think. She may have a couple more days of huge gains, but I think she'll begin to slow dramatically by the end of the week.
Yeah, Whistle probably still won't be much of a threat next week, but the following week it will for sure.

I'm hoping Lights can get a little higher on the Hot 100. Right now it looks like it will be breaking even, passing SIUTK but being passed by Whistle in the next few weeks.

STIUTK was the lead single for Making Mirrors in the US, and Eyes Wide Open is the follow up. So far, it isn't doing too well. I'm stunned as how well 'Whistle' is doing. There's no feature on that track. 2nd Top 10 w/no features attached (all from this era) :o While you may "officially" be correct since Etta James was not credited on "Good Feeling," I think it's pretty clear that the song's success was largely due to her vocal hook. I think the reverse works for Club Can't Handle Me, though. While David Guetta was listed as a feature, Flo performed the whole song, and Guetta didn't add anything that other producers don't add to a song. Although "officially", Whistle and Good Feeling are his only solo hits, Whistle and Club Can't Handle Me are in reality his only solo hits.

I Feel Better (24 October 2011) 4. Easy Way Out (27 February 2012) Here are the peaks from the songs 1. Eyes Wide Open (#96 US - #8 Poland) 2. Somebody That I Used To Know (#1 (8wks) US - #1 (5wks) UK) 3. I Feel Better (Didn't charted in US or UK - #2 Belgium) 4. Easy Way Out (Didn't charted) I believe those are his UK singles. STIUTK was the lead single for Making Mirrors in the US, and Eyes Wide Open is the follow up. So far, it isn't doing too well.
