You're really fucking with my emotions this week. "Adventure Of A Lifetime" becoming your first Diamond song is amazing, but "Hymn For The Weekend" only reaching #5 is certainly not >:( >:(

Coldslay. :'( Kind of surprised that a Gaga song (or another Coldplay one, for that matter) didn't get to Diamond first. 100 pages. :'(

Week of 04-24-2016The quick turnover rate at the top continues as "I'm In Control" swaps spots with "TRNDSTTR (Lucian Remix)" to reach #1. This is AlunaGeorge's 2nd (1 lead, 1 feature) and Popcaan's 1st #1. "Best for Last" and "Lose Control" also swap spots. allowing "Best for Last" to reach its previous peak of #3 again. "T-Shirt" rounds out the top 5 at #5, even with last week. 2 new songs enter the top 10: "Make My Love Go" up 3 to #8 and "All My Friends" up 3 to #9. This is Jay Sean's 1st, Sean Paul's 1st, Snakehips' 1st, Tinashe's 3rd (2 lead, 1 feature), and Chance the Rapper's 1st top 10. 3 new songs enter the top 20: "Bruk Bruk (I Need Your Lovin')" up 24, the greatest gainer, to #12, "Crush" up 22 to #15, and "Be Alright" up 15 to #20. This is Dillon Francis' 4th, Yuna's 1st, Usher's 5th (3 lead, 2 feature), and Ariana Grande's 14th (13 lead, 1 feature) top 20. This is also Dillon Francis' 4th, Yuna's 1st, Usher's 6th (4 lead, 2 feature), and Ariana Grande's 15th (13 lead, 2 feature) top 30. Besides "Bruk Bruk (I Need Your Lovin')," "Crush," and "Be Alright," 1 new song enters the top 30: "Say You Do" up 2 to #29. This is Sigala's 1st, Imani's 1st, and DJ Fresh's 3rd (2 lead, 1 feature) top 30. 6 new songs enter the top 40: "Don't Let Me Down" debuting at #35, "Not Too Young" debuting at #36, "Russian Roulette" debuting at #37, "One Call Away" up 7 to #38, "Brad Pitt's Cousin" debuting at #39, and "Castle" debuting at #40. This is The Chainsmokers' 2nd, Daya's 1st, Sabina's 1st, Tungevaag & Raaban's 1st, Charlie Who?'s 1st, Charlie Puth's 2nd, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis' 7th, XP's 1st, and Halsey's 2nd top 40. This is also The Chainsmokers' 2nd, Daya's 1st, Sabina's 1st, Tungevaag & Raaban's 1st, Charlie Who?'s 1st, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis' 7th, XP's 1st, and Halsey's 2nd song to chart. Besides "Don't Let Me Down," "Not Too Young," "Russian Roulette," "Brad Pitt's Cousin," and "Castle," 4 other new songs debut: "Ain't Your Mama" at #45, "Breathe" at #46, "Send My Love (To Your New Lover)" at #47, and "Just Like Fire" at #50. This is Jennifer Lopez's 10th (8 lead, 2 feature), SeeB's 1st, Neev's 1st, Adele's 4th, and P!nk's 7th song to chart. Dropping off are "Ocean Drive," "Gangsta Walk," "To Ü," "Roses," "Never Sleep Alone," "Propaganda," "Church Bells," "When We Were Young," and "Peter Pan." As mentioned above, the highest debut is "Don't Let Me Down" at #35. Also mentioned above, the greatest gainer is "Bruk Bruk (I Need Your Lovin')" up 24 spots to #12. The biggest drop goes to "Acquainted," down 27 spots to #49. In its 40th week, "Run Away With Me" holds at #43. It is just the 6th song to reach the 40 week mark. 2 of those songs are Carly's ("Call Me Maybe" (50 weeks) and "Run Away With Me" (40 weeks (so far))), 3 of those songs are Coldplay's ("Atlas" (56 weeks), "Miracles" (43 weeks), and "True Love" (40 weeks)), and 1 song is partially Carly's ex's ("Spectrum" (46 weeks)). Another good week for certifications. 15 songs are certified, up from last week, and the spread is again good. However, there are no huge certifications like last week's two Diamond and 9x Platinum certifications. Gold: "Be the One," "Break Up In a Small Town," "Make My Love Go," and "untitled 07 | levitate"; Platinum: "All My Friends," "I'm In Control," "Lush Life," "Misery," "TRNDSTTR (Lucian Remix)," "T-Shirt", and "Unstoppable"; 2x Platinum: "Best for Last" and "Lose Control"; 4x Platinum: "Work"; 5x Platinum: "Jaded." I'm shocked at how quickly Dangerous Woman is falling. :O Yeah, I'm kind of burned on it. I'm In Control as a number one, now that is some crazy unexpected s**t I don't think it's to unexpected. It's got some similarities to "White Noise" which reached #4 and quite a bit of similarities to "To Ü" which was #1 for 2 weeks. :) And Castle debuts, hope it goes places I think it should do decently at the very least. Probably not a huge hit or anything, but still. :) Also any chances at Never Be Like You or Dangerous Woman making a rebound? Probably not. I think both will probably drop off next week. At most, I would only hope for 1 more week before they drop off.

Week of 05-01-2016"I'm In Control" holds at #1 for a 2nd week as the top 3 remains stagnant. #4 and #5 are both new as "Bruk Bruk (I Need Your Lovin')" and "Crush" gain 8 and 10 spots to #4 and #5, respectively. This is Dillon's 3rd top 5 and 4th top 10, Yuna's 1st top 5 and top 10, and Usher's 1st top 5 and 3rd (2 lead, 1 feature) top 10. Nothing new enters the top 10 besides "Bruk Bruk (I Need Your Lovin')" and "Crush." 1 new song enters the top 20: "Don't Let Me Down" up 18, the greatest gainer, to #17. This is The Chainsmokers' 2nd and Daya's 1st top 20 and top 30. Besides "Don't Let Me Down," 5 new songs enter the top 30: "Not Too Young" up 15 to #21, "Brad Pitt's Cousin" up 13 to #26, "Russian Roulette" up 10 to #27, "Don't Give Up (On Love)" up 4 to #29, and "Send My Love (To Your New Lover)" up 17 to #30. This is Sabina's 1st, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis' 7th, XP's 1st, Tungevaag & Raaban's 1st, Charlie Who?'s 1st, Blinkie's 1st, and Adele's 4th top 30. This is also Adele's 4th top 40. Besides "Send My Love (To Your New Lover)," 1 new song enters the top 40: "Ain't Your Mama" up 6 to #39. This is Jennifer's 8th (6 lead, 2 feature) top 40. After several weeks of a high number of debuts, only 3 songs debut this week. This is due to lack of songs to drop off, not a lack of new songs. Next week should see significantly more debuts. This week's debuts are: "Cruel" at #45, "Now That I've Found You" at #47, and "Soap" at #48. This is Foxes' 13th (11 lead, 2 feature), Martin's 6th, John's 1st, Michel's 1st, and "Melanie's 4th song to chart. Dropping off are "Dangerous Woman," "Never Be Like You," and "Acquainted." As mentioned above, the highest debut is "Cruel" at #45. Also mentioned above, the greatest gainer is "Don't Let Me Down," up 18 spots to #17. "NO" nabs the biggest fall, down 18 spots to #50. In its 41st week, "Run Away With Me" rebounds 7 spots to #36. This week is slow for certifications in addition to debuts. Only 9 songs are certified, and the spread is small. Gold: "Be Alright," "Bruk Bruk (I Need Your Lovin')," "Crush," "Hold Up, Wait a Minute," and "I Found a Girl"; Platinum: "Be the One," "Make My Love Go," and "YOUTH"; 2x Platinum: "Hymn for the Weekend." YASSS Justin debuts Due Lipa needs to move a little faster. I am ok with TRNDSTTR being #1 again. Also, I am happy to see Martin Garrix! Soon we both will have COldplay in our top ten together again

Week of 05-08-2016"TRNDSTTR (Lucian Remix)" rebounds 1 spot to spend a 2nd week at #1 as "Best for Last" also rebounds 1 spot to reach a new peak of #2. This knocks "I'm In Control" down 2 spots to #3 to round out the top 3. The rest of the top 5 remains the same. Nothing new enters the top 10, although there is a little shifting around in the bottom half as well. 3 new songs enter the top 20: "Brad Pitt's Cousin" up 12 to #14, "Not Too Young" up 6 to #15, and "Send My Love (To Your New Lover)" up 10 to #20. This is Macklemore & Ryan Lewis' 6th, XP's 1st, Sabina's 1st, and Adele's 3rd top 20. 2 new songs enter the top 30: "Castle" up 10 to #21 and "Cruel" up 16, the greatest gainer, to #29. This is Halsey's 1st and Foxes' 6th (4 lead, 2 feature) top 30. This is also Foxes' 9th (7 lead, 2 feature) top 40. Besides "Cruel," 7 new songs enter the top 40: "Breathe" up 10 to #31, "Kill Em With Kindness" debuting at #32, "Watch Me Do" debuting at #33, "Love Me Like That" debuting at #34, "CAN'T STOP THE FEELING!" debuting at #35, "Needed Me" debuting at #36, and "LIKE I WOULD" debuting at #40. This is SeeB's 1st, Neev's 1st, Selena's 12th (11 lead, 1 feature), Meghan's 4th (2 lead, 2 feature), The Knocks' 4th, Carly's 17th (16 lead, 1 feature), Justin's 5th, Rihanna's 16th (14 lead, 2 feature), and ZAYN's 3rd (solo) top 40. This is also Selena's 12th (11 lead, 1 feature), Meghan's 4th (2 lead, 2 feature), The Knocks' 4th, Carly's 19th (18 lead, 1 feature), Justin's 7th, Rihanna's 16th (14 lead, 2 feature), and ZAYN's 3rd (solo) song to chart. Besides "Kill Em With Kindness," "Watch Me Do," "Love Me Like That," "CAN'T STOP THE FEELING!," "Needed Me," and "LIKE I WOULD," 2 other new songs debut: "True Colors" at #41 and "Time" at #49. This is Zedd's 15th (12 lead, 1 feature, 2 remix), Kesha's 8th (7 lead, 1 feature) (and 1st without the $), and K. Michelle's 3rd song to chart. Dropping off are "Classic," "iT's YoU," "Hands to Myself," "Work," "Everywhere You Look (The Fuller House Theme)," "Ain't You," "One Call Away," and "NO." As mentioned above, the highest debut is "Kill Em With Kindness" at #32. Also mentioned above, the greatest gainer is "Cruel," up 16 spots to #29. "YOUTH" takes the biggest fall, down 20 spots to #43. In its 42nd week, "Run Away With Me" drops 3 spots to #39. Decent certification week. 13 songs are certified and there is a decent spread. Gold: "Don't Let Me Down," "Not Too Young," and "Say You Do"; Platinum: "Bruk Bruk (I Need Your Lovin')," "Close," "Crush," and "untitled 07 | levitate"; 2x Platinum: "I'm In Control," "TRNDSTTR (Lucian Remix)," and "T-Shirt"; 3x Platinum: "Best for Last," "I Could Be," and "Lose Control." Yay for The Chainsmokers/Daya being Top 5, and if you weren't gonna send "Hymn For The Weekend" to #1, it's nice to see that it's at least been steady. Also, I couldn't be happier to see "Papercut" Diamond. Flawless song. You couldn't have picked much better songs for your first two Diamond certifications lol I wish Carly could've been there too with that many weeks, but oh well Great chart!!
