Thanks Juan! :) - "Figure 8" climbs back atop, making "Same Love" falling :( :) and :( so many great songs fighting for the top - "Clarity" rebounds! Although, it makes "The City" to fall :( again :) but :( I think The City is peaking for me. Clarity should see good longevity, hopefully it continues to gain on radio. :) - "I Could Be the One" gets a new peak. Great. Could be on top next week! :) - "Just Give Me a Reason" holds at #11. Could have moved up, but Kendrick debuted ahead of her. - "Troublemaker" climbs inside the Top 20. Yeah, and his 2nd song debuted as well! - "Can't Hold Us" climbs five spots, while "I Need Your Love" and "Kisses Down Low" jump inside the Top 30. Good. :) - "22" and "I Love it" (at least) jump. - Nice debut of "Army of Two". Thanks for the comments. :)

Amazing #1 of course. Nice to see "Army Of Two" and "Sweet Spot" debuting and "I Could Be The One" climbing a lot; hope "I Love It", "Next To Me", "22", "Wings", "I Need Your Love", "Mirrors", "Just Give Me A Reason" etc. do better next week. P!nk needs to make top 10 already.

I just forgot to change it the first chart and then just changed the month/day every week afterwards. I only noticed because your post searching 2012 in this section showed up several of my charts lmao.

So like I mentioned before I kept track of iTunes plays this week. I have a playlist of my weekly top 40 that I play a few times during the week, which has every song once, and the #1 song twice. I listened to a lot of Selena Gomez this week, her 3 albums like 3 or 4 times each. A few songs I played several times on purpose, but for the most part this week I just put my whole library on shuffle. This is why my top 40 songs are basically the same songs from my chart last week. I combined different versions of the same song (aka I have "Like a Virgin" on Like a Virgin, The Immaculate Collection, and Celebration), remixes, instrumentals, acoustics, radio edits, etc. My formula for points for this week, since I only have total plays and plays for this week, is this week's plays plus total plays/12. I also set the formula (I used Excel) to make the points 0 for songs that did not get played this week, so a song with a lot of total plays would not accidentally chart. But now that I think about it would mess up a lot of the remix stuff. Like I charted "Spectrum" but only the original was played, no remixes. This means it loses out on quite a few total plays... Oh well lol. The chart turned out with good results so I'm using it. Plus in the long term, if I continue to do this, it will only use plays from the last few weeks. I only used total plays since I only have the 2 sources of data for the points for this week. Idk, feel free to comment. Random side project/chart, I know. Oh I thought I wrote this, but TIGOY is so high because I bought the new remix EP. I listed to 4 of 5 songs twice and the 5th 4 times. Plus listening to the regular several times, gives it a lot of points. Also I'm putting up my chart soon.

Week of 04-07-2013"I Could Be the One" Moves up 4 spots to #1 in its 4th week. The first #1 for both Avicii and Nicky Romero. This is Avicii's first charting song, and Nicky's second, after Zedd's "Human" featuring her. "Figure 8" falls 1 to #2, and Kendrick scores his second top 5 song with "Bitch, Don't Kill My Vibe" up 6 to #3. "Mirrors" moves up 2 to #8, a new peak, as "Suit & Tie" holds at #7. "The City" falls 5 to #9, and P!nk scores her 4th top 10 (of 4; "Blow Me (One Last Kiss)" hit #8, "Try" hit #6, and "Slut Like You" hit #3) with "Just Give Me a Reason" up 1 to #10. Spurred on by the remix EP, "Tonight I'm Getting Over You" rises 2 to #12. The biggest gainers are "I Need Your Love," up 10 to #19, and "Sweet Spot," also up 10 to #15. "Freaks" also sees a big gain of 8 to #13. Conversely, the biggest faller is "Poetic Justice," falling 14 spots to #38. As mentioned before, it's not all bad, as "Bitch, Don't Kill My Vibe" is smashing, the true successor to "Swimming Pools (Drank)," imo, which falls only 2 to #25 this week. "She Wolf (Falling to Pieces)" falls 8 to #23, the second biggest fall. Only 2 songs debut this week: "High School" by Nicki Minaj featuring Lil Wayne at #39, and "#thatPOWER" by will.i.am featuring Justin Bieber at #40. The two dropping songs are "Sweet Nothing" and "Two Black Cadillacs." "See You Again" looks to debut shortly, so Carrie fans, don't worry. As I said last week, I implemented my new points/certification system. The new points give low songs more of a boost, and the new certification threshold takes 3 weeks at #1, rather than the previous 2, to make platinum, and each successive platinum as well. The new certifications for this week (I had the new points from last week already, so these are truly the new certifications) are Gold: "All Around the World," "Bitch, Don't Kill My Vibe," "I Could Be the One," and "Troublemaker." 2x Platinum: "Crying Out Your Name" and "Tonight I'm Getting Over You." In its 40th week (of 40 chart weeks total), "Call Me Maybe" moves up 1 to #32. Will it ever end? I doubt it. If it charts at all next week, even #40, it will reach 5x Platinum, making it only the 2nd song to do so, after "Little Talks." :) Also, look for Q1 random stuff sometime this week, assuming I don't forget. Here's #25-21 of my 2013 Q1 top songs. Basically for the peak, WOC, and certification columns, the overall (including 2012 and the 4/7/13 chart) number is first, and the 2013 Q1 number is in parentheses. If there is no number in parentheses, that means the overall and Q1 numbers are the same, and no need to repeat myself unnecessarily. Q1 | Single Cover | Song | Artist | Peak (Q1) | WOC (Q1) | Certifications (Q1) | #25 | | Locked Out of Heaven | Bruno Mars | 2 | 18 (7) | 2x Platinum (1x) | #24 | | Pour It Up | Rihanna | 9 (15) | 18 (12) | 2x Platinum (1x) | #23 | | Two Black Cadillacs | Carrie Underwood | 17 | 13 | Platinum | #22 | | Ready or Not | Bridgit Mendler | 9 | 11 (9) | Platinum | #21 | | I Knew You Were Trouble. | Taylor Swift | 15 | 12 (10) | Platinum |
