Okay, so I've been testing something over the last few weeks, and it seems to be going well so I'm going to try it. I've felt really restricted lately with my chart. Since I know I can't chart everything in a Top 50, I try to squeeze everything I like into the Bubbling Under section for at least a week, and it just feels...wrong. For example, I bubbled under "Rich as F**k", which definitely should not have been in my Top 75 songs of any week. It probably would've graced the 90s in its release week. Anyway, because of this, I have decided to bring back my Top 100. Now before you freak out that it was such a flop the last time, I've learned from that chart's mistakes, and based on test charts I've run the past few weeks, it should run smoothly.
In addition, I've updated the criteria. Slizzard got me thinking about recurrency recently, and I now hate it. It has been removed from this chart, allowing any semi-current single to re-enter. This helped prompt the chart expansion. This week, Fall Out Boy's "The Phoenix" has been one of my favorite songs, but due to a non-single rule, I wouldn't have been able to chart it. I realized that this personal chart is meant to reflect my tastes, simple as that. Because of that, all limitations are lifted. Anything can chart, regardless of release status or country. You're probably thinking that this sounds just like my flop chart from October-December, and you're pretty much right. The difference now is that I've realized where that chart style went wrong. If I somewhat liked a song from one listen, I charted it, and it would drop off the next week. I often wouldn't even remember how the song went. Now, I won't even chart a song if I don't think it can last at least two weeks on the chart. I'll only chart album tracks that really stick with me, and singles that I find stuck in my head, for example. Most albums won't even chart album tracks, to be honest. Also, I feel like my current chart style has been slow and laggy, never really up to speed with when I like songs the most, so I've revamped a little.
Basically, this change is meant to create a better, broader, and more realistic representation of what music I'm currently liking, and isn't that what a personal chart is for?
Over the next few weeks, I'm going to be charting the songs that missed out due to the previous criteria, so it may be a little messy the first couple of weeks. I've also took away certifications temporarily in order to figure out how to incorporate the Bottom 50.
Since the chart obviously has much more songs than before, I've only bolded the songs that would not have charted last week. ("I Need Your Love" was not elligible due to "Drinking from the Bottle" still charting. It would have bubbled under last week). Even with the extra positions, only 10 songs are bolded, and this was actually a pretty big week with new releases, and one song is just to make up for past weeks. Much better than the 20 I previously averaged per week ;)
April 21, 2013-Demi Lovato's "Heart Attack" spends a sixth week on top to become the second longest running #1 ever. This means Demi has the top 2 songs in that category.
-Fall Out Boy had a big week this week. Their album was released, "My Songs..." rebounds 20-3 after an initial peak of #5, and "The Phoenix" re-enters at #8, due to new rules. It is their second Top 10.
-Justin Bieber's "All Around the World" rises 11-6 to become his sixth Top 10 hit.
-A$AP Rocky scores his first Top 10 as "Wild for the Night" rises 15-10.
-The first album track from earlier this year to chart is "Better Than You" by Conor Maynard at #20. This is his third Top 20 after "Vegas Girl" and "Animal". Expect more from him and other artists in the coming weeks.
-Calvin Harris debuts at #28 with "I Need Your Love". This is Calvin's fourth consecutive single to debut in the Top 30, and the second to due so as a result of a rule change.
-Anna Kendrick and Chris Young score their first Top 50s with "Cups (When I'm Gone)" (51-46) and "I Can Take It from There" (53-50).
-DJ Drama and PSY score their second Top 50 hits. Respectively, "So Many Girls" rises 61-47, and "Gentleman" debuts at #48.
-will.i.am debuts at #49 with "Fall Down", his fifth song to chart. He is also rises 37-13 as the Greatest Gainer with "#thatPOWER".
-Other new entries this week include songs by Jason Derulo, Emblem3, Swift K.I.D., Thirty Seconds to Mars, Paramore, Sean Kingston, and Skylar Grey.

To shorten the time, I cut each clip by two seconds and got rid of the dropouts and flashback.
