I have no idea why people are saying there's "no hook"... it's hooky in general! this forum tends to be negative more than positive to me I think in this song, Sheryls voice is dry and weak.

This is currently at #11, and it lost the bullet. This is unbelievable for a Sheryl Crow lead single. I don't think it's done yet, and I'm sure it'll end up peaking in the Top 10, but it seems unbelievable to me that this isn't doing better considering the radiofriendliness of the song and the hype behind her album.

Enjoying some longevity and a new peak Actually, she's still stuck at #8 this week but next week she could be as high as #4 and #7 at the lowest, unless something totally unexpected happens.

I lthink the song is pretty blah - the only good part is the "everytime I hear the rolling thunder. And she sounds kind of whiny.

I wonder what they'll go with for Single#2? I think that it might be beneficial to release Live It Up. It's classic Sheryl... but then again, I really thing the slower songs are what make Wildflower so amazing. I Know Why is somewhere inbetween, same with Where Has All The Love Gone so maybe either of those.

Up to #6. I wonder what they'll go with for Single#2? I think that it might be beneficial to release Live It Up. I Know Why is somewhere inbetween, same with Where Has All The Love Gone so maybe either of those. I think it has to be either "Live It Up" or "Where Has All The Love Gone" if she's aiming for commercial success. "Good Is Good" is very representative of the album and it's not quite the smash her last handful of lead singles have been. I think she has to take a different approach with the second single.

It should have been a smash at CHR/Pop as well, but that format has blown off adults by the millions over the past several years, as Kevin Carter states in the newest issue of R&R.
