"Die Another Day" was a single from the soundtrack of the same name not American Life, though. It's like saying "Like A Prayer" was from Celebration.  "Like a Prayer" is from Celebration. It's just originally from Like a Prayer. It's just as much from Celebration as "Die Another Day" is from American Life. ANYWAY, love "Sorry". Tomorrow: "Cherish"? |

#18. Express Yourself (Like a Prayer) Heartbreak was right, Slizzard was wrong.  Pretty sure everyone knows this song. It's fun and catchy, but I feel like at the same time it's missing something to make it one of Madonna's amazing songs. Still lots of fun to listen to, though. Tomorrow is another song from Like a Prayer. :)

#17. Cherish (Like a Prayer) Hitseeker and Slizzard were both right! I love this song, one of her classics. At least it is to me. It got stuck at #2 in the US, which is unfortunate, but still a nice hit.  Tomorrow (and the next day, actually) is a song from True Blue. :)

So cute and SO true. I wasn't sold on it at first, but "Cherish" is quickly becoming one of my favorite Madonna songs.

I hate #18. Could never get into it, but I LOVE #17! That & the title track are the only songs I use from "LIKE A PRAYER".

#16. Open Your Heart (True Blue) Hitseeker was right and Slizzard was wrong! At least this song managed to hit #1 like it should have. I really like the beginning, the bell/xylophone/whatever part. It's very catchy and sticks in my head easily. Just a wonderful song which I love very much. Tomorrow is another song from True Blue.

#skippedadayoops #15. Papa Don't Preach (True Blue) getmyrocksoff91, hitseeker, AND Slizzard right! :O A great song. When I was younger, I didn't realize what the song was about. I thought "my baby" referred to her boyfriend. Not an actual baby.   But to be fair I was young and probably knew nothing about abortion at the time. Anyways, this is a great song. Definitely one of her classics. Pretty much all the songs at this point are amazing and I love them all to death. :'( A couple songs will possibly be shockers for being so high, but for the most part it's what you would expect. :) Tomorrow (hopefully ) is another song from True Blue. |
